And I find it charming that you believe running a large group is different in the Federal Government for elsewhere. How would you feel about running a combat regiment or brigade? Nothing to it?
"charming" How infantile!
If you have to ask the question only means you don't have clue as to the laws of the fed how the fed operates.

And from the way you carry on you don't have the slightest idea on what you are talking about.
I do very well understand the way in which the IRS handles emails. You obviously don't. And from the discussion it appears Lerner did not either...which is hard to believe.
Looks like a federal judge is part of the right wing "fake" scandal:
Quote:
A federal judge ordered the IRS Thursday to explain under oath how it lost a trove of emails to and from a central figure in the agency's tea party controversy.
U.S. District Judge Emmet G. Sullivan gave the tax agency a month to submit the explanation in writing. Sullivan said he is also appointing a federal magistrate to see if lost emails can be obtained from other sources.
Sullivan issued the order as part of a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit by Judicial Watch, a conservative watchdog group. He said the IRS declaration must be signed, under oath, by the appropriate IRS official.
"I'm going to hold tight to that Aug. 10 declaration," Sullivan said.
The magistrate judge he appointed just smacked down the DOJ in March.
Tomorrow the IRS goes to court again, this time facing True the Vote, to explain why they "lost" the e-mails after assuring TTV's attorney that they were saving all the evidence as required when involved in a lawsuit.
That's another question, and it's up to the IRS to respond to applications and tax filings - objectively. The problem is when a powerful government agency like the IRS uses that power to target selected people based on their beliefs. That's dangerous for the country.
Yet that doesn't change the fact that the groups filing for tax exempt status did not meet the criteria.
And from the way you carry on you don't have the slightest idea on what you are talking about.

Your BS meter is pegged way past the top. Defending the indefencibe makes you look very foolish indeed, and your claim to being a past manager also isn't credible just by reading your wild stories... What company would have a braggart and a story teller in a high position?? Wonder if the company is still in business....
Actually it isn't a deflection, it is a fact. If a bunch of groups apply for something they don't qualify for, don't be shocked if they get denied.
Fine - deny them all, which isn't what the IRS did. They were selective which is the issue. You're trying to cloud the discussion. If they should have been denied, they should have done it, but they should have done it eaqually. They also should not have asked for information they are not supposed to request and they should not have shared information they aren't supposed to share. I agree, if the request should be denied, then do so, now can we talk about the rest?

No, it sounds like a lot of Republican right wing groups got denied for not meeting the criteria and that upset the Republicans and right wingers. This is nothing more than partisan theater for the right wingers to feel like their base is doing something.

Your post is partisan theater if you aren't willing to include the FACT that the IRS targeted people based on ideology. If they were all denied, then fine, but that's not what happened. The IRS also requested other information and disseminated it. If you leave out key facts, as you have, then your point has no substance, and it doesn't.
