stop it, just stop it, please, this bickering back and forth has to stop if we are going to accomplish anything, first and foremost we've got to wake people up, both repub and dems....so nothing ever again can be constructive by being at each other's throats and pointing fingers, this childish drewl has to stop.

They have successfully split us up and have taken over by doing so....and sooner or later, you've got to not only see it , but accept it...we did this to ourselves...by giving them more and more power.

Our jobs do not stop simply b/c we vote....
Our status as a human being is not defined by our political affliliation
it is not successful as a loner but more so as a team.....

it is a failure of all the people we all support and have supported in the past....you probably do not know what it used to be like....they took us over and threw us under the bus in a matter of 50 years....working together to divide this country, and keep us against each other....

And we allowed it to happen

65% of minors requesting asylum in 2014 got approved.
Some tough message that sends back to central America.

Two-thirds of illegal immigrant children approved for asylum: report - Washington Times
According to the Judiciary Committee’s numbers, 65 percent of unaccompanied children’s asylum applications are approved by the initial asylum officer so far in 2014. Even those who are refused can ask for an appeal, which means the total number who end up staying, with government permission, is likely to be higher.

Reform should have nothing to do with rewarding illegals for violating our immigration and employment laws. That isn't reform That is an amnesty. The reason so many call reform amnesty is because that is exactly what is currently being attempted. s.744 absolutely gives a free pass to criminals. A legal faces deportation for document fraud, tax fraud or evasion. Get a DWI and a legal immigrant faces deportation. Get caught driving without a license. What would happen to you a citizen if you admit to document fraud? What about don't pay your taxes for 10 years? Use a false SSN?
All legal immigrant had to apply for a VISA in the nation of origin and wait to be granted permission to enter. Why does s.744 not require the same of illegals?
s.744 delays mandatory E-verify for 5 years and only for future employees. In other words any employer currently employing an illegal gets a free pass. Is that reform or is it an amnesty?
Can't argue with one point you made............nor can the liberals. Sad times going on.........

sometimes hearing the news is so depressing.. sometimes ignorance is bliss, at least for a week or so, till the next crises happens. I really have to turn off the news many times and watch Americas Got Talent or some other fun movie, I know the crap is out there, but sometimes its very disheartening to read / hear about it all the time..

I would like to hear/see people revolting, like they're doing in Murietta. wish more of that would happen.

in the meantime, i'll read the news here.

Not all of them do, though. Some are actually quite frustrated and don't support their cause for at least two reasons:

1) They immigrated legally, and it was a challenging, time-consuming, and sometimes costly process. They hardly think it's fair that others can just walk right in.

2) The high number of Hispanic illegals tend to make all Hispanics look bad. Some are not too thrilled about that.
