One could not be poor and ever be elected President, it is illogical to believe otherwise. That said, what Most Americans would prefer is President that does have empathy for the poor and is willing to try and do what they can to help the poor rise out of poverty and improve their lives.

The poor are being helped. The missing link is the poor trying to help themselves. Why should they? They receive benefits the rest of us have to work for.

Picking up, bagging and taking to the bank tons of money that fell through the roof, is the kind of hard work that doesn't require minimum wage requirements.

lol, you think being poor is something to be proud of now?

Give being poor a shot? LOL, no thank you... been there, done that, and "worked hard" to get out. Government will never legislate your prosperity but you go ahead and wait.
