I had no idea the treatment of women in childbirth was such a vital issue to you (sar).

It's instead.

Your constant gross grammatical errors make your posts unreadable. There are others here I disagree with, but their posts are clear, so I can understand the points they are trying to make. Very often, yours are 100% unreadable, as it is often not a case of one word being wrong by two letters being typed backwards. Its several letters per word, several words, in one "sentence".

Well said. Putting it simply, a refugee from Central America might answer, "We're over here because you're over there."

The Democratic Party as a whole seems to be anti-gun (sometimes rabidly so), which solidifies opinion against them in certain quarters and kind of lumps Democrats and Liberals in the same barrel, regardless of their individual views.

Looking back, it wasn't always so.

We should care about our own grammar, as with massive errors in grammar, the point you may be trying to make is (very often) impossible to decipher.

The current Democratic Party leaders are nothing but greedy, self-serving corporatists. They are fine with killing the economy and ruining people's lives as long as they and their cronies get wealthy, and the elected dems can wield the power of their elected office. What do the people get, we get to subsist off scraps from the table like Food Stamps and extended unemployment.

If you look at how they have treated the 2nd Amendment since the end of the Civil War, it is very obvious they really do hate the 2nd Amendment have been trying to destroy it ever since..

First the "Colt Laws" which were passed in the late 1830`s South or on the Frontier which made it a hang able crime to sell Colt or any revolvers to Native Americans or Freed Blacks in the without a special permit that the buyer had to have which was next to impossible for them to get. Most of those states had mostly Democratic majority in their state legislators.

The South Carolina legislature, perhaps pleased with the success of their poll tax, passed a law in 1875 prohibiting ownership of all firearms other than those manufactured by Colt or Winchester.Since these makes were much more expensive than all others, this law was a novel way to prevent poor people of all races from having guns.1875-1880

Countless taxes and special permits were needed for blacks in the south to own and kind of firearm that could use to defend their land and families which made it so expensive they were limited to single or double barrel shotgun..1830-1965

The Sullivan Act in New York City with made it crime to carry a handgun if you did not have a permit(and the only way you could get on is if you were a member of the Sullivan Gang, who was lead by Timothy Sullivan a a notoriously corrupt Tammany Hall politician and was the leader of the Sullivan Gang which allowed only his gang to legally carry a pistol...He was a Democrat. 1911-Today

The first national infringement on our 2nd Amendment rights

The National Firearm Acts. 1934

The National Firearms Act passed in 1934 was meant to prevent "gangster weapons" from "being sold to criminals" It places figure printing, passport photos, having your Chief of Law Enforcement Officer Sign off, and then paying a $200 tax stamp which in 1934 would cost $3435.69 in 2014.

It was leveled against the following.

1.Short Barrel Rifles (barrels shorter then 16 inches, and a overall length of less then 26 inches.)

2.Short Barrels Shotguns(barrels shorter then 18 inches, and a overall length of less then 26 inches.)

3.Any Other Weapons(a firearm that is disguised or not seen as "normal"..What ever the hell that means)

4.Machine Guns(which were used for alot of things back them, and yes self defense was one of them)

5.Sound Suppressors(anything that muffles and reduces that sound of a report of a firearm, very common before this law made the un-affordable e to the common man..Added for no reason other then to reduce pouching with is how many people were able to feed their families in the Great Depression.)

6.Destructive Device (The definition of a "destructive device" is found in 26 U.S.C. § 5845(f). The definition reads as follows:

(1) any explosive, incendiary, or poison gas, (A) bomb, (B) grenade, (C) rocket having a propellant charge of more than 4 ounces, (D) missile having an explosive charge of more than 1/4 ounce, (E) mine or (F) similar device.

(2) Any weapon by whatever name known which will, or which may be readily converted to, expel a projectile by the action of an explosive or other propellant, the barrel or barrels of which have a bore of more than one-half inch in diameter (.50 inches or 12.7mm), except a shotgun or shotgun shell which the Secretary finds is generally recognized as particularly suitable for sporting purposes)

Which were all in very common usage for a wide verity of of task from clearing of land, to the hunting of game, to protection of life, liberty, property.

The great irony was it was not the lax laws that cause the crime spree of the 1920`s and 1930`s it was the Prohibition of Alcohol and the Great Depression just added many people to a point were they had no option other then to make and run liquor a great away for people to make great money while flaunting a unjust law.

Another irony is the major criminals just stolen their weapons.

like Bonnie and Clyde, they stolen their Browning Automatic Rifles during a raid, from the National Guard Armory in Enid, Oklahoma on July 7, 1933

John Dillinger stole one of his many Thompsons during his escape from from a police station holding cell in Auburn, Indiana on Oct. 14, 1933,

Machine Gun Kelly, stolen Thompsons...

Baby Face Nelson?..Well I think you know were I am going with this..

The National Firearms Act of 1934 was drafted by Homer Stille Cummings, voted and supported by the Democratic member of Congress and signed into law by Franklin Delano Roosevelt.

Then we have the next strike against the 2nd Amendment..

The Gun Control Act of 1968. 1968

Creation of the FFL system

It outlaws the common practice of Mail Order of Firearms, which were not any real source of firearms to crimes as they nearly always bought off the black market.

Import restrictions
The 1968 Gun Control Act added a "sporting purpose" test which barred imports of military surplus rifles (a goal of many domestic gun makers) and a "points system" for imported handguns which barred from importation handguns based on penalizing features (short barrels, small caliber, short overall length or height, non-adjustable sights, etc.) believed to define the Saturday night special class of handgun. This made it harder for working class Americans and minorities to defend themselves.

It also banned the importation of NFA Items(Short Barreled Firearms, Suppressors, Select Fire Firearms, Destructive Devices") from being imported to this nation.

Sporting Clause Requirement
Every firearm that is imported into America from this point on had to meet a "Sporting Requirements", which self defense is not a "valid reason" for "certain" types of firearms.

Every kind of firearm with a bore over .50 Cal(expect for shotguns) have to pass a point system or be labeled a "Destructive Device".

Case in Point a Holland and Holland .600 Nitro is a "sporting weapon"

But

A Solothurn S-18/100 20MM rifle(or any 20mm rifle for that matter) which fires the same diameter of round is not because it does not meet the "sporting requirements".

The GCA is more a matter of economic protectionism for the benefit of U.S. firearms industry (which was fearing the flood of very very cheap firearms from overseas as nations started to liquidate Post World War II Surplus) than a genuine effort to curtail gun violence, which as we all know was mostly gangs being fueled by drugs and "Days Of Rages".

Funny thing is the people who created this bill pretty much copied a great deal of

President John F. Kennedy Assassinated by Lee Harvey Oswald, he used 6.5 mm Carcano Model 91/38 carbine, bought by mail order...

Nation of Islam leader Malcolm X killed by Thomas Hagan, used a legally bought handgun bought at a store..

Martin Luther King, Jr. killed by James Earl Ray he bought a Remington Gamemaster 760 at Aeromarine Supply Company, over the counter, perfectly legally..

United States Senator Robert F. Kennedy Assassinated by Sirhan Sirhan he used a 22 caliber Iver-Johnson he bought at a local hardware store..

So with the major Assassinations and killings only one of the had a mail order fire, and just because one of them had used a legal system to buy a firearm millions of Americans needed to be punished and have their right infringed upon based emotionalism and hysteria nothing more.

According to the comprehensive research by JPFO, all of America’s present gun-control laws have Nazi origins, evidenced by the group’s shocking accusation that the Gun Control Act of 1968 was plagiarized almost word for word from Nazi legislation.

View this disturbing fact via the links bellow.

SIGHTINGS

The Gun Control Act of 1968 was introduced by Rep. Emanuel Celler[NY-D] passes the House and Congress by large margins by the Democrats in office, and signed by Democratic President Lyndon B. Johnson.

Wow..Anyone notice any kind of a pattern here?

On to the next epic infringement on the 2nd Amendment.

The Firearm Owners "Protection" Act of 1986

As a whole it was some what a great bill it had many great amendments that defended and strengthened the 2nd Amendment.

The "Safe Passage" provision

If you are in Ohio and you are going to a competition in North Dakota and you were to travel into the state of Illinois, the law enforcement officials in that state could not arrest you for the states firearm laws such as the ones that require you have a Firearm Owners Identification Card which is a requirement in the state of Illinois.

You can drive thought states, stop for gas, food, lounging ect for a small length of time.

Registry Prohibition

The Firearm Owners "Protection" Act prevents the ATF from keeping a registry directly linking non-National Firearms Act firearms to their owners.

Federal Law 18 U.S.C. 926 (18 U.S. Code § 926 - Rules and regulations | LII / Legal Information Institute) Great site by the way.

A great deal of gun owners believe the do so anyways have been caught on at least 3 know times trying to do so.

Mail Order of Ammunition
It also allowed mail order of ammunition to private homes which before was not allowed.

Now I know what you must be saying..Gunlover, why do you not like this bill? Why did you use the term "protection" in quotations?

Well these reason alone is why this is the worse law since the National Firearms Act of 1934

The Hughes Amendment.

Rep. William J. Hughes (D-N.J.) slipped in a poison pill amendment into this bill.

This Amendment nicknamed the Hughes Amendment closed the Machine Gun Registry on May 19th 1986.

Before the registry was closed you could buy a newly made MAC-10 or MAC-11 for around $500 plus the $200 tax stamp.

You could buy a converted MP5 for close to $1000 plus a $200 tax stamp.

You could buy a Drop In Auto Sear for your AR15 for under $300 or build it yourself for about $5.00 a plus a $200 tax stamp.

You could buy a War Trophy like a STG-44, MG-42 for a reasonable price, plus a $200 tax stamp.

You could buy a M60 E1, E2 or a E3 model for maybe $2,000 plus a $200 tax stamp.

You could buy M2 Browning .50 cal for $3,000 plus a $200 tax stamp.

You could even buy a M134 Minigun for a cheap $12,000 to $15,000 plus a $200 tax stamp..

Newly made select fire firearms, conversion kits galore, cheap, easy and legal to buy...God such a great time in America for us gun owners...And like all great things and great times, some damn fool operating on envy and emotion has to ruin it for everyone.

From May 19th 1986 new machine guns could not be added to the registry, meaning the supply that was once growing at now become frozen. And in the recent age of the internet and the knowledge you can legally own machine guns has cause the demand to sky rocket. With demand sky rocketing but the supply frozen the prices have sky rocketed to the law of economics.

Now that very same Drop In Auto Sear that cost that would cost you $3000 or build it yourself for $5.00 Now would cost you $18,000 to $25,000! It weights no more then a 3 ounces if it made of Gold it would cost no more then $3922.95. Only the Federal Government and some do gooder fool could turn a piece of steel, aluminium, or titanium worth no more then $5.00 into a something that is valued at $25,000 ..

And the icing on the cake is the Amendment failed a voice and electronic vote.

Don`t believe me? Watch.

Hughes Amendment failed to pass with Yeas being 124 and Nays at 297, yet it was added into the final bill by who other then Rep Charles B. Rangel(NY-D).

Sadly it was slipped in to the bill and no one know until after Reagan signed it into law.....Funny more Democrats using lies and voter fraud to limit the right to keep and bear arms...Wow, its almost like its a pander at this point..

On to the next infringement on the 2nd Amendment.

Undetectable Firearms Act of 1988

The general effect of this legislation is a ban on the manufacture, possession and transfer of firearms with less than 3.7 oz of metal content. It also requires handguns to be in the traditional shape of a handgun.

It was passed in large to to misinformation about polymer based handgun like the Glock 17, and do to the movie Die Hard 2.

Watch this scene.

The Glock 7 does not exist by the way just a bit of artistic licence.

Gun-Free School Zones Act of 1990

1990: Senator Herbert Kohl(W-D) introduces bill S.2070, Which banned unauthorized persons(anyone but police) from having a firearm on school property.

The law was found unconstitutional in United States v. Lopez as it violated the Commence Clause, it was also the first time the Supreme Court made any ruling that involved the Commerce Clause since the New Deal.

The law still stands in many states.

Since this law the number of School Shootings have increases, in large part because the criminals will know they will be able to kill people uncontested..

The graph on this site confirms it.
Gun group says active killer events quadrupled after Gun Free School Zones Act - National gun rights | Examiner.com

A law written and introduced by a democrat that limits the right to self defense and created a target rich environment of defenseless victims...

On to another act of infringement.

The Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act. 1993

This law mandated that people buying a firearm have to under go a background check as well as wait a 5 day waiting.

Luckily private sales are still legal and and it was rule by the Supreme Court unconstitutional in Printz v. United States one the grounds it violated 10th amendment rights of gun owners, law enforcement officers and the states they live in.

written and introduced by Howard Metzenbaum (OH-D) and passed in a by a wide mirage thanks to the Democrats in office..

On to another infringement on the 2nd Amendment.

The "Assault Weapon" ban of 1994. 1994

Official named the "The Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994" it banned the manufacture of any semi automatic rifles able to accept detachable magazines with two or more of the following features..
Folding or telescoping stock
Pistol grip
Bayonet mount (How many crimes do you know that have involved a rifle and a bayonet? I mean really?)
Flash suppressor, or any threaded barrel designed to accommodate one

Pistols

Any Semi-automatic pistols with detachable magazines and two or more of the following:
Magazine that attaches outside the pistol grip
Threaded barrel to attach barrel extender, flash suppressor, handgrip, or suppressor
Barrel shroud safety feature that prevents burns to the operator(because we need to make things unsafe in the name of public safety)
Unloaded weight of 50 oz (1.4 kg) or more
A semi-automatic version of a fully automatic firearm.(which makes no sense it is semi-automatic)
Shotguns

Any Semi-automatic shotguns with two or more of the following:
Folding or telescoping stock
Pistol grip
Fixed capacity of more than 5 rounds
Detachable magazine.

It also banned the new manufacture magazines over 10 rounds for the next 10 years, creating a massive bubble in mag prices.

Before the ban a 33 round Glock mag was about $15 during the ban $50 was the cheapest you could find them for.

Before the ban old GI AR15 mags were a $5 during the ban $40 was not uncommon..

The bill was written and introduced by Dianne Feinstein (CA-D) The bill was vote on and approved of by a majority of the Democratic in in Congress.
This 10-year ban was passed by the U.S. Congress on September 13, 1994, and was signed into law by President Bill Clinton(D) the same day

More bans, and more Democrats behind it..Wow just too long of a string of coincidence is it not?

So quick to infringed on our rights are they not?

For the next 10 years the rights of millions of Americans were infringed upon.

This little action was the last straw for most of America and in little over 2 months the mid term election had happened and the voters remembers these people and their actions..More then 75% of those that voted for this monstrosity lost their seats.

For the next 12 years they were a minority in the Congress and was one of the reasons Al Gore lost in the 2000 Presidential election..

The Act expired on September 13, 2004.

One added benefit is that trying to ban something always makes in popular. After the sunset millions of Americans that never thought of owning one bought them, cheap mags flooded the market, surplus ammunition made shooting a great past time, and at this time a new tool was very ready to aid us. The internet was the greatest marketplace of new products and ideas, as well a place to gather the troops and spread info on laws, and candidates to either aid their cause and fund them or expose them and their will intent.

At this point the tide has now began to change in the favor for the 2nd Amendment.

Another sad and doomed to fail act of infringement

Gun-Free School Zones Act of 1995. 1995

Senators Kohl(Wi-D), Specter(PA-D), Feinstein(CA-D), Lautenberg(NJ-D) and many others try to version of the 1990 school-zone law which was struck down in court as being unconstitutional by United States v. Lopez

More dems, more laws, and more failures...

On to yet another act of infringement

The Lautenberg Domestic Confiscation provision. 1996

The Lautenberg Domestic Confiscation provision It was sponsored by Senator Frank Lautenberg(NJ-D). It bans people convicted of misdemeanor domestic violence from ever owning a gun.

It even retroactively punished people for a crime they committed before this bill became law, in same states even just yelling at your wife is considers domestic violence.

In the United States, the Congress is prohibited from passing ex post facto laws by clause 3 of Article I, Section 9 "No Bill of Attainder or ex post facto Law shall be passed."

Once again a feel good law that harms people, strips away their rights, and does not do anything to reduce crime. And oh what do you know, guy which member and party are behind it.

The following is a list of bills that failed to make into law due to the tireless efforts of The NRA, GOA, JPFO, The GOP and tens of millions of Americans..

January, 1999
The American Handgun Standards Act of 1999. 1999 Senator Barbara Boxer (CA-D) Would have made it next to impossible to make handguns without a list of safety features that did not exist and still do not exist.

Child Safety Lock Act of 1999. 1999 Senator Kohl(WI-D) It would to require a child safety lock in connection with transfer of a handgun.

February 1999
The Stop Gun Trafficking Act of 1999. 1999 Senator Frank Lautenberg (NJ-D)
the Gun Show Accountability Act of 1999. 1999 Senator Frank Lautenberg (NJ-D)

Both laws would have made all private sale of firearms next to impossible.

March, 1999
The Gun Industry Accountability Act of 1999. 1999 Senator Lautenberg(NJ-D)
The Large Capacity Ammunition Magazine Import Ban Act of 1999 Senator Feinstein(CA-D)

May, 2000
The Firearm Licensing and Record of Sale Act of 2000, is submitted by Senators Feinstein(CA-D), Senator Barbara Boxer(CA-D), Sen. Lautenberg(NJ-D) and Sen. Schumer(NY-D)
It is a plan for a national firearms licensing system. Which is violation of the Firearm Owners "Protection" Act and the 4th Amendment.

January, 2001:
The Firearm Licensing and Record of Sale Act of 2001, is sponsored by Feinstein(CA-D), Schumer(NY-D), and Boxer(CA-D) It is a nation-wide gun registration plan, I mean just the same bill with the date in the name changed..

May, 2003
Senators Feinstein(CA-D), Schumer(NY-D), Boxer(CA-D) and others introduce legislation that would reauthorize the 1994 federal assault weapons ban, and, close a loophole in the law that allows large-capacity ammunition magazines to be imported into the U.S. The ban is scheduled to expire in September, 2004.

October, 2003: Senators Feinstein(CA-D), Lautenberg(NJ-D), Levin(MI-D) Schumer(NY-D)

Co-sponsor bill S.1774, designed to stop the sunset [ending] of the Undetectable Firearms Act of 1988.

March, 2005:
Senator Lautenberg(NJ-D) introduces bill S.645, "to reinstate the Public Safety and Recreational Firearms Use Protection Act," Which would reinstate the 1994 assault-rifle ban [also known as the "Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994"] which expired in late 2004.

March, 2005:
Senator Feinstein(CA-D) introduces bill S.620, "to reinstate the Public Safety and Recreational Firearms Use Protection Act," in other words, to reinstate the 1994 assault-rifle ban [also known as the "Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994"] which expired in late 2004.

December, 2012-January, 2013

Assault Weapons Ban of 2013 introduced in by Senator Feinstein(CA-D) It was defeated in the Senate on April 17, 2013 by a vote of 40 to 60.

We are leaving out thousand of laws past at state levels..

We have stopped them cold in the last 10 years at the federal level..Now comes the next step which is to remove these moronic laws.

Actions truly speak louder then words.

Wow..So many laws, so many bills, so many actions taken against the 2nd Amendment......

I mean it is very obvious how the party and its member view the 2nd Amendment, they have earn the distrust and title of "The Anti 2nd Amendment Party"...They have earned it.
