If they lose the suit (and they will) the Republican lawmakers should have to personally repay the taxpayer's money they wasted on this courtroom circus.
Not surprised, but it will be funny when this blows up in the Republican's face....though the bad part is they have no shame, so they won't even notice when this goes south for them.
One wonders what you would suggest to reign in a POTUS that is out of control, but has the senate controlled by his own party to have his back

Haha, you think our president is "out of control?" That was a good one.
So let me get this straight, we have a president who is from a specific party, and that specific party thus supports the president with what he wants to do as president? You do realize that is how every president has always functioned. That is why presidents belong to specific parties and why it is good to have that party in control of one or both of the branches in Congress.
They are blazing new territory with a politically motivated taxpayer funded lawsuit against the president. Retaining politically connected law firms and lobbyists and then funding them on the taxpayers dime deserves scrutiny, maybe we could have a hearing?
I would tend to agree on the politically connected aspect. That said, how is it any different than money from the AHA being funneled to politically funded groups that support the (D's)?
Not really, but it should come up for a vote, don't you think?
And obviously you think they are all junk, which you cannot prove.
If the bill tries to defund ACA, then it is a junk bill. Why would I want to waste my time going through every bill the House puts up just to prove a point to some random person on the internet?
Why should the Senate waste their time voting for bills that would never pass to begin with? We would never get anything through Congress because the House would just flood the Senate with junk bills that they knew would never pass.
