Deregulation Frank, deregulation... No one has asked specifically for tainted meat but this is what you get when profits are valued higher than anything else... Do you get it now?

Well so far no one has mentioned it's an American owned Chinese Food Company that was the culprit.

Shanghai Husi food company, a subsidiary of Illinoise based OSI Corp.

I don't think anyone is going to suggest we get rid of regulations, the issue is over regulation. If you were ever in a business that is regulated you would understand. I used to have a trucking business, I could check every light on that truck before I left in the morning and if one of those lights went out the second I hit the road I could be issued a fine for it.

coalman! Just about every occupation in America is regulated. I've both owned a business and worked for another company that had to work within regulations... That said, even regular drivers will get fined for a vehicle light not being operable while using public roads. Should commercial truck drivers be exempt? Conservatives always talk about businesses being over regulated. It's about time you guys come up with the specifics!!!

Deregulation is the key phase of the day for your type. Tell me this, do you think the FDA implements too much regulation, not enough, or just enough?
