When you guys look at the president's schedule why do you always miss seeing things like on Friday when he met with the presidents of Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador to work on the problem of keeping those country's children from trekking off to the U.S.A and to work on getting those kids that made it to our border shipped back home? [MOD CUT/off topic] Golf? Eating Texas barbecue? Fund raising? When has there ever been a president that didn't do those or similar things? Social media just makes it easier to see in this century. There will always be problems. Do you really expect future presidents to never leave the White House until everyone in every country is at peace and happy because he or she might show up on Facebook or Twitter having a good time?
The fact it took him weeks to summon the leaders of those countries belies the fact he is not trying. And yes he has been eating BBQ and attending fund raisers, jetting all over the country to ensure the survival of the Democratic Party due to his disastrous policies.
The only jokes I get about America when I travel is about how uneducated and stupid so many people are. I'm yet to hear anyone tell me that they think POTUS is stupid.
The only joke in this thread is the OP's flawed assumption that POTUS can magically stop the children from central America. There are laws, passed with Republican support, that make dealing with them much more difficult. Of course, it's hard to be a mindless, emotional puppet if you actually know what you're talking about.
There were plenty of laws passed in 1986, that make dealing with them much more easier. But those laws have never been fully enforced.
What makes you think new laws will be enforced?
