Any riots in Chicago?

It's the riots, not the shooting.

So why no riots?

And yet, except for grieving family and friends, a protest or two by some local religious person--nothing.

Certainly a step in the right direction. Thanks for sharing that information! Hopefully the numbers will continue to fall.

Gun violence is still a tragic issue in this country, it is a shame we will probably never have a real conversation about it. Good thing for Chicago is the city is much safer than conservatives are willing to give it credit.

New Orleans and DC are still the worst.

Chicago is actually as safe as any major city.

How so? The OP is making a case that Obama should be concentrating on Chicago rather than MO. I'm sensing a comprehension problem.

No Police involved in the Chicago shootings.
No riots in Chicago.
No vandalism attributed to these shootings.
No looting attributed to these shootings.

All shootings occurred in gang infested neighborhoods. Likely some who were shot were affiliated with gangs. Others were likely in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Thanks!

We should be talking about why the Feds have been militarizing LP's since 2003, even in the face of lower crime rates...

The violence is rising in Ferguson, and this could get really bad really quick! I witnessed the King riots, from just a few blocks away from the epicenter, and it was horrific.

Chicago isn't in the top 10 when it comes to murder per capita so why keep bringing it up.

You must use a per capita rating to have an honest comparison.

Chicago isn't in the top 10, however Texas is lower than Chicago, but higher than Illinois.
