It's probably closer to the latter. The truth was we would have done better to simply fight for equality within segregation. Once things became economically equal, people would integrate on their own, especially among the poor of all groups.
Maybe. I would like to hear quality opinions from everyone, those who will take time and look at the topic.
You are wanting things to be given to you.....I worked for my business.
You have some good ideas, but you are posting this on the wrong site. All you're to get from the anti-black, white and asian crowd here on CD are a bunch of negative racist comments and generalizations about black people.
Why not just copy and paste your whine into a favorites folder for multiple use?
(oh wait)

Your idea won't happen.....life is not that way.
How is this plan viewed as wanting to get something from somebody else? This deals directly with people solving their own problems. No government help, no money from other communities. This is all black people.
I think it would be a step backward and we will see continued integration. Twenty years from now the "Cheerio Girl" wont raise any eyebrows. We can already see the "Modern Family" is different from the family of 40 years ago.

It wouldn't be a step backward, at least not for black people. Now I'm not saying everyone should segregate. I'm saying where there is a majority of black people, a blacktown should be formed. Get some businesses there and let the money circulate. These businesses will also help those who are unemployed there.
Heavenese = "the government isn't going to solve these problems. No social program is going to uplift black people as a whole."
Exactly.
IMO you are on the right path by observing what works in other communities, however I don't agree with a Marion Barry-style exclusion of non-black owned businesses. Also, black business people should mostly care about the color green, so ensuring that all people (with money) are welcome is important.
= "over a third of our population is about to become extinct"

Here's an idea .. Live where you want to live and 'succeed' on your own merits!
(Just a thought)
Now with all that said, how do you get the ball rolling in the direction of forming Blacktowns? I would like to see all of our entertainers, athletes, black voices, and all income classes in the black community come together on one accord. To specifically fund these businesses and communities. For example I would like to see Lebron James speak out publicly, and dedicate all his philanthropy work into it.
Here you are asking for funds.
Just go to a black area and open a business.
