They aren't.

Certain ones are just revealing what kind of fanatical leftists they are.

The only way sanity is coming back, is if we all move back to the Constitution. That being, a half universe RIGHT of the TEA party.

All leftism is pure insanity.

Society , tv, news have moved to the extreme left.. ever listen to the language on tv, and the topics? ... raunchy is in , from entertainers, to raunchy news under the guise of knowledge and information.

The Republican party has moved left , and the democrats are far left radical. The Tea Party are the true Republicans of what used to be the Republican party.

Nah...the libertarian party is not centrist per se. They represent a significantly different view then either party. its more like a triangle then a line when you compare them to the D and R folks.

Agreed.. The tip of that triangle (Libertarians) being the views of a very high number of Americans. It really is kinda amazing that they can't pull it together to put a viable candidate up for office. i would think, and I have no facts to back this up, that a majority of Americans would identify more closely with Libertarians than either major party.

Anyone who just blindly agrees with either (or any) political party has no independent thought of their own.

I identify as republican.. Just because I tend to agree with them on more things. But.. There's an awful lot I don't agree with them on.

Drugs? make 'em legal.. But, put solid penalties in place for DUI and things like that which will come about from the legalization.

Abortion? Not my business unless you make it my business. Which means.. Fully legal, but, if someone is using abortion as birth control.. They've just made it my business.

Religion? Get our heads out of our butts.. Yes, separation of church and state, but.. Suing for a nativity? Ten Commandments being on public grounds? Get a life.

Financial? let's get our house in order before we start spending MORE money that we don't have.

Gay marriage? Not my business. Throw a bone to the religious folk.. No gay marriage, but 'civil unions' are perfectly fine. It's just semantics. To-MAY-to, to-MAH-to. i've heard the argument that separate but equal.. I just don't see it here, tho. It's just a name. Compromise. If someone really has a problem with getting 99.999% of what they want.. Well, maybe you'd prefer 0%?

A company doesn't want to provide benefits to those civil unions? That's their right. Market will take care of it. People who care about that will go to other companies.

Healthcare? I don't necessarily have a problem with Universal Health Care.. But.. Who runs it? Our government? Holy crap, let's just cut 20 years off everyone's life right now.

I'm actually very much in favor of going isolationist.. Yeah, I know how well that worked in WWII..

Amnesty? Nope. But.. We should look at ways to logically make a way for people to come here if they want. Within reason, and with limits. Throwing the doors open isn't the way to do it.

Dual languages? Not a chance. You come here, you learn the language. I go live in France, I'm gonna learn French.

If something offends you.. Stop it. You don't like that a company doesn't provide same-sex benefits.. Stop working there, stop shopping there.. A TV show flashes a naked butt? Don't watch it.
