Republicans, with all their spins, obstruction, deceptive marketing, lying, and money, have NOT fooled the American public. An astounding 72% disapprove. More evidence yet, that the GOP is increasingly disfavored in this society, and in a FREE FALL.
Many the 72% who disapprove of Congress will no doubt through disinterest or laziness or distraction will not vote. Of the 18% who like the job Boehner and McConnell are doing to obstruct Obama and refuse to acknowledge that America has any real problems like unemployment sickness, climate change ignorance or low incomes, most of them will vote. So it might be a cake walk for the GOP.
A while back I suggested a " Cash For Clunkers" type program for states that vote to recall their elected congressmen, senators and the President. If the district voted to remove their congressman, they'd be given 50 million dollars to be divided up among the legal tax paying citizens. If a state would vote to recall their senator or senators, that state would be given 200 millions dollars for each also to be divided among the legal tax paying citizens. If they vote to remove the President and he is successfully removed, that states citizens would split a billion dollars. Those serving their first terms would be exempt from the recall vote. This could be done every ten years. The money given would be a wonderful boost to the economy as well.
I guarantee you the people in DC would bend over backwards and do somersaults to do the best job they possibly could for their constituents, unlike now which is just the opposite.
How anyone can vote for that gang of crooks is beyond me. They stand for nothing but big money. They are professional liars.
Ask any American Idol - not the TV show but real pop stars - what they are all about. The money. Ask Snoop Dogg what he is about and he has his mind on his money and his money on his mind.
Ask the idiot judges of America's Got Talent what it's all about and they are doing that gig for the easy big money.
It's not "evil" republicans who are all about money. Ask any athlete what it comes down to. "Show me the money!" What do actors get for blase movies? Do astronauts get paid $1M a year? It's as hard on the body as playing football.
Any politician who makes it to the show (congress) and beyond is from money and well connected; they went to the right Ivy league schools and are wealthy. It matters not be they black, white or brown, it takes more than mere money to be "made". Think of the schools the last 3 POTUS went to - all are Ivy league and liberal as hell. It doesn't matter what party they are from.
