Old Joe is a dolt that provides comic relief nearly every time he puts his foot in his mouth. However, in this case, the PC Police have struck again, as usual. "Shylock" is more of just a figure of speech than it is a racial slur. The Jewish community should lighten up and forget it, and Joe should keep his trap shut and not reference anything out of the Classics.

Hell, my English teacher used to come down on me for the common use of "a lot" meaning many of an object in these United States. The origination of the word was a plot of land with a predefined size. As was told to me, many times "If you say you have a lot of pencils, it had better be enough to fill a 10,000 sq ft piece of land"
