But sure, lets blame it on people failing while ignoring the entire reality of everything else.
Why do you have kids when you can't afford their education. This is your job as a parent.

My job as a parent is to raise my kid so she does not have to rely on anyone to survive.
My daughter @ 17 has all the funding for college where she will not owe a dime upon graduation.
She has worked hard, since she got into softball, to get an academic and softball scholarships, along with securing grants and sponsors from the pharmaceutical community. She has been studying toxicology in Community College classes after school and sports practice.

I can afford her education, but if I pay for it, will she really want to learn, or be there for the party.
Demand and force your kid to go to college.... See what happens. One thing is, you will waste a lot of cash and come away with a kid you feel is unworthy.

We have plenty of equal opportunity based on your skills, education, ability to work etc.... I don't think all cultures are equal and we should never expect that to happen.

You're very welcome. The Church is growing fast enough that this is necessary.

Are you planning to take over the world?
I don't believe that's on the agenda. We just want to have places for our members to worship, and that costs money.

Would you perhaps like to get back to the topic of the OP now?

They tell us everyday, we are not equal and start picking the winners and losers.

There isn't even equal opportunity, even though it is preached as law.

We don't even start out equal in life, as a new born infant.

The faster everyone gets over this equality issue and confusing, "we should all be equal" with what should be the "government should treat everyone equally", the faster America will get back on strong footing.

If we were all equal, I'd look like Brad Pitt.
If you're looking for the government to make you equal then you'll never achieve your life's goals. Your equality is your right to pursue your goals - absent the assistance of government.

You want the government to treat you equally... you might take a lesson from Madeleine Murray O'Hare. Move the government 'Out of your way'

Really? My parent didn't pay for mine. And...my fathers father didn't pay for his. But today suddenly...its my job as a parent?

To be fair my father helped my step brother go to Stanford for a business degree. Took out loans etc. He ended up paying them because the step brother has never worked in his life..and hes in his late 40's. What a waste.

Are you among the world's wealthiest? - Telegraph
Quote:
If you have $3,650, including the value of your home, you’re among the wealthiest half of people in the world. (This is net wealth - so, once debts have been subtracted.) The other half own less than 1pc of global wealth, while 77pc of adults - that’s 3.3bn people - have less than $10,000.

How equal do you really want to be?

The answer is we want our country that we nominally control to be more equal, and we want the entire world to be improved. But we only run our country, not the world.

My parents didn't pay for mine, either.

Who says? My parents didn't pay for mine or my other 3 siblings college education, we got loans or grants. I never would've even dreamed of saying "Yeah, so where's my college tuition you should've been saving up for? Hand it over". Seriously. It's weird that this is a thing now, I hear parents nowadays all the time talking about their kids college funds. That's just odd to me.
