You'd think after a while people would get tired of beating this drum, but it just never ends. Notice the true racists are the ones always bringing race up?

No, the true racists are the ones who are actually... you know... RACIST.

Either way, I get sick of it.

You mean like weathermen beats the drums of weather?

Let me give you a quick example of racism.

When 90% of black people voting Democrat is interpreted as blacks being too stupid to know what is best for them. Even if one believes that it is stupid for anyone to vote for Democrats....the fact that 90% of blacks do but only about 45% of whites do implies, from the premise, that blacks are more stupid than whites.

It's when a person believes in an ideology or mantra that says that poor people are poor mostly because of internal flaws, or inferior traits, relative to people who are more successful. In other words, people are poor because they are not smart like the more successful people and therefor they make poor choices. They are not as responsible as successful people. They do not have the work ethic of successful people...etc. When one harbors this ideology, believes and preaches it....then what does that mean they think about black poverty being 3 times that of whites? One cannot hold onto those ideals about people in general, without concluding consciously or subconsciously that blacks are inferior to whites because we are poorer than whites on a per capita basis.

You see....I see many, many examples of racism daily...simply reading this forum and peoples reasoning. The above are examples of the demonstration of such. People like you do not see racism because terms like the N word are not use and people are not saying that they hate or doing any other overt demonstrations. But guess what........THAT KIND OF LANGUAGE IS CENSORED. Anyone using that kind of language KNOW that they will be banned and their post deleted!!! America censors and ostracizes overt displays of racism....so the result is that racism is covert.....like in the examples that I provided.

When someone calls into C-Span and calls Obama the N-Word on national TV, does that qualify as pulling the race card?

Actually your post would directly qualify as pulling the reverse race card.

I recommend you learn the definition of racism, before erroneously implying it.

No....YOU pointing it out is YOU playing the race card. You are not supposed to respond or acknowledge the existence of racism.....lest you be charged with playing the now infamous card.

Racism is racism, period!

The left have been pulling the race card with reckless abandon. I've got news for you buddy; reverse racism has been well debated. The common agreement is that there's no such thing as reverse racism. Again, racism is racism...period!

This goes for the race card as well. If there were such a thing as a "reverse race card"... wait, that doesn't even make sense!

No soup for you!

Give example of this reckless abandon? Is not your claim subjective? If a person is averse to hearing about something.....ONCE IS TOO MUCH. It has nothing to do with the frequency, I submit, but rather, the tolerance level for the subject. I mean the tolerance level for politics is really high. People can talk left right politics forever. You know why? The left never oppressed the right and the right never oppressed the left and if you argue they have.....its a wash anyway. So people go back and forth all day long saying the same stuff over and over and no one seems to tire of it.

That is not true for the issue of race. Once race was oppressed by another. Its not a wash. So the oppressing race HAS NO ARGUMENT. THEY HAVE NO DEFENSE. ITS ON RECORD and they cannot turn around and say that the other race did the same thing to them. Hence...that race does not want to talk about RACE....because they have no comeback. GUILTY AS CHARGED!!!.... so they just don't want to hear it and come up with these terms like 'Race Card"to be used on people who bring up the empirical evidence....in an attempt to shame them into silence by making it seem like THEY ARE THE PROBLEM.

this is a pitifully typical example of your ability to see 'racism' into practically everything you encounter, including the unequal representation of black jelly beans in a bag of candy

in the above statement, one does not even have to mention race - merely to opine that they believe poverty is largely (not entirely) a matter of personal responsibility.

from there, you make the crazed jump of illogic that, because blacks have a higher rate of poverty that whites, the belief that poverty is largely but not entirely a matter of personal responsibility is 'racist.'

this server cannot accommodate the number of rolling-eye smilies needed to properly address this utterly insane train of thought, so I will only use one.
