in the above statement, one does not even have to mention race - merely to opine that they believe poverty is largely (not entirely) a matter of personal responsibility.
from there, you make the crazed jump of illogic that, because blacks have a higher rate of poverty that whites, the belief that poverty is largely but not entirely a matter of personal responsibility is 'racist.'

You see....that is where people like you fail to see racism. You only look for the explicit and not the implicit. If Racism is proofed when A is = C....then saying that A = B and B = C, although not explicitly never being guilty....it is implicitly guility of it.
Keep in mind that we exist in a world hell bent on deception. Thus, people trying to hide something are not going to be explicit and overt and risk the social and or economic consequences.....if not moral and internal consequence

Lol....your application is faulty. A = B is FALSE in your application. The only equality between A and B is DOCTOR. Hence, the equivalence between A and B is DOCTOR. Thus A, in your application, NEVER EQUALS B!!!
The correct application of your attempt would be that "Some men and women are doctors".
However, your subconscious is hell bent on not exposing its racial bias and therefore its using emotions to corrupt your conscious ability to reason intelligently. Either you lack intelligence to understand the logic....or you are attempting to deceive.
Thus, when people, who one assumes are intelligent, start reasoning without intelligence and denying logic to defend and argument that is not tenable using intelligence, honesty and logic......what would motive that other than racism?

A common meme from the Right these days is to accuse the Democratic party and Liberal policies of ruining the public school system, ruining minority lives by offering safety nets like Welfare, and perpetuating minority underacheivement by making them dependant on the government.
Apart from lower taxes, I beleive this is what motivates Republicans most... because they tell me in person and because I see and read it all over the media, formal and informal.
Indentured, what is your take on this, in this context? I certainly don't beleive they care about minorities. Is it just a ball of hate for both?

My take is that if socialism ruined human lives, then the application of socialism anywhere would produce the same impact. I do not see having a social safety and other liberal policies producing such an impact in Germany.
Indeed, based upon a Harvard Study, America would be more liberal if not for race and racism. In other words, the Harvard study concluded that the reason that the US was the only industrialized Western nation without European style socialism was due primarily because the face of the poor in America do not look like the face of the masses in America. (even though numerically there are more poor whites.....their fixation is on non whites because they don't mind as much when they are white) In other words, the poor are seen as black and other minorities and the study concluded that people are willing to help the poor more when the poor look like them.
Less government equal less taxes in theory. Social safety nets = more taxes. Thus, morally, to justify their greed, they try to obfuscate their greed so that it looks like a moral concern for the plight of the poor by arguing that big government hurts the people that it is supposed to be helping. Back during the slave trade the enslavement of Africans was marketed to the church and christian nations as something that was to the benefit of the African because it exposed them to civilization. So of course, the main reason that it went on so long was because of their interest in civilizing savages.

Thank you, beautifully written again. What really disturbs me is that there is room for people to want to be around people similar to themselves, what with nationalism, families, etc. Every race of people has naturally felt this way throughout history.
But the aggressive, high-level efforts to deny rights and opportunities to people unlike themselves is high-level hate/racism. Sad and appalling...
I think some people sometimes use the race card to couch classism in racial terms because classism is generally considered acceptable and thus playing the class card doesn't work.
When someone calls into C-Span and calls Obama the N-Word on national TV, does that qualify as pulling the race card?
Anyone throwing around the n-word is an idiot who deserves no air time.
That is completely different than disagreeing with one or more policies and then being called a racist for it.
