The stresses of poverty have a huge impact on crime, on marriages, on child psychology... blaming it on the parents is thinking small. Oppressors throughout history have justified their oppression by blaming the status of the oppressed on breeding, bad parenting, inferior culture, lack of willpower, and so on... but the fault always lies on the oppressors.
There are lots of impoverished countries that don't have these problems. They still are able to instill respect in their children.
Isnt that the root of the issue, if parents where more in childs life the turn out would be tragic?
MIchael Browns father was in his life only 4 years.

Not to mention not attacking a cop and trying to take his gun. I had to laugh when I read about that woman who said "I have a sixteen-year old and it could've been him. (Wilson) was way out of line". Really??? Hopefully you're teaching your kids not to screw with police officers. They have a job to do.
