I'm curious to see how all the "rule of law" folks here will defend the actions of 3 cops and their leituent for beating *another* fellow peacekeeper, a distinguished veteran NYPD detective of 30 years. Please justify his beating after he cooperated, flashed 3 forms of ID and still was beat by he's "colleagues" (all while is son watched and others screamed "he's a cop". Please tell me that race has nothing to do with it, and that the system doesn't need to change. Oh yeah, no charges whatsoever.
Well if you go to the end of the video "policy" is the uniformed officer is always in charge. Do as the uniformed officer says even if it is showing your ID 30 times to every uniformed officer who shows up at the scene and your wont get your head bashed into your brand new escalade!
Knee jerk reaction to emotion instead of waiting for more information.
As opposed to the knee jerk reaction of the cop ( white cop if suspect is black cop ) is always king. Good thing there was video because most people like yourself would believe the white cops were in the right. Even with video and immediate dropped charges you won't even bring yourself to admit yes what they did was wrong.
Well the question is, "justify the actions" and therefore no one has been able to. If the actions are not justifable, then the next question is why weren't they punished?
No, the next question is how you came to that conclusion based upon one persons side of the story.
While the OP intended this thread to mock people always defending the cops no matter what (and they exist), it's turning into a parody thread of people taking the other side, no matter what and with little or no evidence.

Sweet. Link the video please, that will help a lot.

Unlike most people, I wait for all the facts to come in before pontificating.
Keep in mind all he video evidence in Michael Brown's case and we all know how that turned out.
Frankly, the comments on there say a lot about us white folks and it isn't pretty. If we can't be intelligent in our dialog without muttering racial slurs, then we are also part of the problem.
Just like those who break laws in certain communities do NOT say anything about those who also happen to live there, stupid comments by some do not say anything about "us white folks".
What individuals do only says something about them, not everyone else who in any way might be associated with them.

Why is everything all or nothing with those who want to tear down the system?
Of course there are bad apples in ANY organization. These may be too. Why do you believe Conservatives believe the police ca do NO wrong? If they did, they should be punished.
But are you among those believing Michael Brown was some sort of a victim?
I don't know anyone who thinks the police are perfect in everything they do. There are a lot of good cops and a few really bad ones. Hope that "admission" satisfies you.
