Low oil prices equals a better economy and a better economy equals a more forgiving citizenry which equals better polls for the cretin in chief. Of course Obama supports HIGHER gas and oil prices so he's basically brainlessly stumbled bass ackwards into a situation that benefits him even if he didn't bring it about.
If Obama striving for not being a total failure and a detriment to the country makes you happy, I say go for it.

Premiums rose at a far higher annual rate pre-ACA.

2008: 9.9%
2009: 10.8%
2010: 11.7%

Those rate hikes were OK but 5.4% is a problem? Stagnant wages are hurting disposable income, not Obamacare.

No doubt they were a problem. But not everyone wanted and paid for healthcare coverage. We were told it would go down not that the increase percentage-wise would be less.

Is this a Paul Ryan moment? The increase isn't as high as before so its a cut. lol

Where did you read he supported higher gas and oil prices? Are you saying he said that or that his policies allude to that?

It's never easy is it?

On the other hand, even people who receive federal financial help may face large premium increases if they simply re-enroll in the same plan in 2015, since in many cases the lower-cost plans in 2015 will no longer be among the low-cost offerings next year. This is because people receiving tax credits must pay the full difference in premium between the plan they choose and the second-lowest-cost silver plan in their area.

Like anything it pays to look into things when purchasing something. We've all been burned at one time or another when we haven't.

You got that right. They contacted people who think he's going to get them more stuff. Call me and I'll give them an earful but that will never happen.

No, those rates were not OK and neither is the 9.3% jump the ACA laid on me this year. Do you not read posts before you reply to them? And please stop posting unattributed numbers to support your case. If you want to make a point, provide links, as recommended in the TOS.
