I saw on Inside Edition last night that BJ ! got his name and style from a Miss America ? contestant he saw on TV.
She was very pretty and it seems he's trying to emulate her. imo anyway.
God. ESPN is a for-profit television channel, right? Who do you think they'd give this award to? Oh, yeah, Caitlin Jenner who is the talk of the town! Why? More viewers and sponsors, which translate directly into more money.
Why do you care whom ESPN decides to present with an award? They surely don't rack their brains trying to come up with the most deserving person for each category, because that's never the point.
This is not the Nobel Prize. Deal, don't fake outrage.
Welcome to the Judeo-Masonic world. Pope after Pope warned us Westerners of the rising influence of this entity from the 1700s all the way up to Pope Pius XII. But we didn't listen.
The West today is weird, because it's run by demented people.
Were those the popes with the kids or the popes that stood around while the Nazi's did their thing or the popes that let the shepherds rape the sheep?
This is probably the nicest response I can muster when you show up blaming the jews and conspiracy theories for a lousy espn award lol.
ESPN defends giving Caitlyn Jenner Arthur Ashe Courage Award at ESPYs
ESPN defended its decision to give Caitlyn Jenner the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at this year’s ESPYs amid outcry on social media that it should have gone to Lauren Hill or Noah Galloway, an Army veteran who was wounded in combat.
Caitlyn Jenner to be Honored with the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at The 2015 ESPYS on ABC July 15
By Jay Jay Nesheim@JayJayN_ESPN
Posted on June 1, 2015 Almost 40 years ago, Bruce Jenner’s Olympic success came as a result of strengthening both his mind and body leading to his status as one of the world’s greatest athletes, but the decision to publicly come out as a transgender woman took a different kind of courage and acceptance of one’s self. To celebrate that bravery, ESPN today announced that Jenner will be presented with the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at The 2015 ESPYS Presented by Capital One. Presented annually to individuals whose contributions transcend sports, the Arthur Ashe Courage Award is the pinnacle of the sports celebration, which will be televised Wednesday, July 15, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC from Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE.
Jenner’s unyielding resolve and hard work enabled him to win a gold medal in the 1976 Olympics and break world records. He then parlayed that success into a variety of roles across different areas including television, film, auto racing and business. Although Jenner first captured the attention of the nation for his athletic prowess and determination, the same strength of character shone through this past April when he sat down with ABC’s Diane Sawyer to come out as a transgender woman.
Curious that this hasn't received more recent media attention...has Jenner been cleared of all charges involving the wreck that killed a woman?
They're not bringing charges. Wasn't texting, wasn't drinking....just an accident.
