Everything a Congressional representative does costs the taxpayers money. When a representative puts forth this kind of blatant stupidity they need to be held accountable.
You are assuming that they ever actually pass legislation that's in the interests of people xD. The majority of legislation states pass is pointless, it just varies in it's level of stupidity is all.
So is this more supposed "small government" from the GOP? I was hopeful they would live up to their premise of being the party of "small government" when they captured the House, but sadly it appears they are still going about their hypocritical ways! No better than the damn Democrats in terms of nanny state BS, and intruding our lives! Thank GOD I'm a libertarian!

I would be okay with this, although I would prefer to let social norms take care of the problem. Restaurants may be a different issue -- I don't care to see people walking around in speedos and yoga pants when I am trying to eat.
