So this thread has turned into - OK, maybe O'Reilly didn't really lie, but hell - lets go ahead and have a good ol' trash O'Reilly/Fox/viewers session because we just don't like him/them. Raise your hand if you didn't see this coming...
SOMEONE on the other side will pay for Brian Williams being exposed, LOL.
Well as I understand it, he is dying a 1000 deaths on the JFK story. Good for you Mr. Bloviator.

Rowlett and Byron Harris, another of O’Reilly’s WFAA colleagues at the time, both say the embattled host was with them at WFAA’s Dallas headquarters when de Mohrenschildt died.
The station "would have reported it as some kind of exclusive -- and there was no exclusive -- if O'Reilly had been standing outside the door,” Harris said. Not only did WFAA run no exclusive, but the story was broken by The Dallas Morning News.
This "story" reeks of 6 yr olds pinching each other because the other one pinched first.
Monkey see, monkey do. It happens everyday in the world of "The News". It should be called "The BS".
In the book "1984" workers would be required a program called "The 2 Minute Hate" on TV while at work so their emotions and demeanor could be monitored by the omnipresent ruling party. If one appeared bothered or indifferent it could lead to an interrogation, especially if one's kids reported suspicious behavior on your behalf.

O'Reilly has claimed he has "seen guys gun down nuns in El Salvador" and "was in El Salvador and I saw nuns get shot in the back of the head" during his time as a CBS correspondent. The incident that O'Reilly appears to be referring to is the well-documented execution of four churchwomen by the Salvadoran national guard in December 1980. After this event, experts say that there were no priests or nuns killed in the country for more than eight years.
But in his book The No Spin Zone, the host writes that he did not begin covering the civil war in El Salvador until "a few weeks" after he began as a CBS News correspondent in 1981 -- the year after the execution took place.
Is anyone actually thought O'Reilly isn't lying most of the time? LOL.
This is nothing new, Keith Obermann exposed O'Reilly's claim that he played football in college. O'Reilly even had glorious stories about running onto the field blah, blah. Turns out, his college didn't even have a football team until after he graduated.
i.e. Despite the now huge interest from those who didn't even know who he was last week, almost nobody watches O'Reilly.
It's clear the only reason that NBC/Williams apologists are so interested in him now, is only to create an equivalence fallacy. They are seeking for any excuse for the network and anchor telling lies. It's certainly better than accepting that they have been lied to for years by the MSM.
Both Williams and O'Reilly lied but the fact is that only one of them apologized and resigned. More an indication of their respective audiences' appetite for lies.
