And let me guess, asking Jesus will provide me with the requisite level of desire necessary to change from gay to straight.
I'm afraid not. There are reasons one is gay and the circumstances of those reasons would have to change, if they are deeply embedded in your psyche it would be very difficult to change, for some people maybe impossible without huge life altering events.

Fee choice is part of everyone's civil rights. Equlity is equality. there are no conditions, preferences, or restrictions on liberty, and freedom is the only way everyone is equal. Freedom does not have conditions attached.
it doesn't matter if homosexuality is genetic or a choice at all. Either all of us are free and at liberty to live our lives peacefully as we please or not. There is no middle ground.
Well, you did say that the ability to change sexual orientation depends on one's level of desire. What level of desire is required to effectuate a change in sexual orientation?
I've known MANY gay people who, because they couldn't change their sexual orientation, tried (and in some instances succeeded) to kill themselves.
If your desire to change your sexuality is greater than even your desire to continue living, and that desire still isn't enough to actually change your sexuality, then what level of desire is???

Obviously they had other issues going on, a suicidal person isn't exactly the model of emotional health.

OK assuming you are a man.
So say a male billionaire is attarcted to you and want to marry you, you probably want to change your sexual orientation?
And does it mean when you marry him you will not be attracted to female anymore?
I know deep inside your heart you will say that you would still be attracted to female.
Further I cant imagine you having any reason to change, one can live a very fulfilling life as a out gay man in the 21st century.
I've had a very strong desire to not be gay most of my life. And despite 15+ years of prayer, it has never happened. You are absolutely clueless.
