The Duke lacrosse case was a perfect example of how victim statements are not always accurate and/or truthful.

I've never been a supporter of the death penalty. I think anyone who is should be in a lottery of people to have to pull the switch.

I do however feel that we need stricter sentences for violent criminals. We can make room by legalizing drugs and eliminating 3-strikes laws, but that's a topic for a different thread.

I am a strong supporter of the Death Penalty.

Some years ago, I was "invited" to be a witness at an execution. After witnessing an execution, I have not changed my mind

I have always been against the death penalty. If killing is wrong, why is ok if the government kills? Two wrongs don't make it right....Double standard. I do believe in life without parole however, for vicious violent criminals.

If Life without parole were truly "Life" then, maybe I could adjust. But, Life without parole does not, in most states, mean "Life".

I have never supported the death penalty. There will never be a government I could trust with the power to execute its own citizens.
