Around 130 days for her confirmation and still counting, do they love Holder that much?

The issue is a provision in the human trafficking bill that allows victims of human trafficking to receive funding for abortions.

Washington
(CNN)Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell on Sunday said he plans to
hold up attorney general nominee Loretta Lynch's confirmation until the Senate
passes a now-controversial human trafficking bill.

"This will have an impact on the timing of
considering a new attorney general," McConnell told CNN's Dana Bash on "State of
the Union." "I had hoped to turn to her next week, but if we can't finish the
trafficking bill, she will be put off again."

There is no value in trading one token for another. Keep Holder in place so that he can be charged with a crime or sanctions down the road that impacts his pension.

Ah, what a pickle to be in, deciding between whether to support abortion on demand policies or whether to vote to confirm as AG a supporter of executive amnesty. Btw, OP, most of that 130 days count includes time from when the Democrats still had the majority but simply failed to schedule a confirmation vote.

More hostage taking by the GOP. What does one thing have to do with the other? Not a thing. But the GOP will grab whatever hostage happens to be handy at the moment. Why not debate the issue in contention on its own merits? Oh, yeah, that's a little too much like governing, something the GOP has no interest in ever doing.

It should be noted, as well, that Republicans believe women who are sold into slavery should be forced to bear the children of their oppressors. Par for the course for the GOP.

Why should taxpayers be on the hook for abortive procedures? Answer that for us.

As for the maneuvering, is there any particular reason you did not reserve such angst for Democrats when they pulled the same tricks?

Taxpayers aren't on the hook for abortions. The funding for the abortions for these particular rape victims comes out of a victim fund that is funded by fines from convicted criminals. In an indirect way republicans are supporting more anchor babies for illegals. They always have so this isn't really anything new except they are continuing to make it difficult to get an abortion without actually criminalizing abortions.

Since January. And already we've seen several attempts at hostage taking from them. With the debt ceiling fight just around the corner, expect to see more of the same. It's all they know how to do.

...and the other side thinks your side views human babies as simply boils to be lanced.

The repubs have caved on everything else so far, and yet all you do is whine.
