Can see it in NC with the Yadkin River Bridge Project and the completion of the I-485 loop around Charlotte.

Traveled to Denver by car in 2012, large number of road projects on that trip. GOP made sure projects had no signs stateing federal funding, part of the bill.

TO answer OP, yes the GOP wants to go back to war.

well, I don't think any clear thinking Americans want war with anybody else in the world. The only assurance is MAD aka Mutual Assured Destruction that began to emerge at the end of the Kennedy administration. MAD reflects the idea that a country can be protected by leaving it vulnerable so long as the other side faced comparable vulnerabilities. Using nuclear weapon will be national suicide.

In the new cold war, Russian achieved nuclear equality. Both America and Russia can destroy each other many times. Because of MAD, the world is a relatively safe place.

We have B-2 Stealth Bomber can carry sixteen B61 or B83 nuclear weapons, is difficult to detect with radar.A single submarine carries the destructive power more than nine times greater than all Allied ordnance dropped in WWII.

I don't think Iran wants to commit suicide by starting a war with the United States.

How do you know what Rough Men think or that they all think the same. I am one of the Rough Men that fought, supposedly for this Country (River Rat Mekong Delta '66-'67), and do not want us to fight phony wars (Nicaragua, Iran 1 and 2, Afghanistan) for somebody's profit. I have observed that the greatest proponents of War are the people that will never put their lives on the line because staying home and making obscene amounts of money for themselves is far more important.

I also see a War with Iran being fomented by the Arabian Saudi Kingdom as they have a long term grudge with the Persian sector of Iran. I do not see why we bother trying to defend these despots. They are not worth any American lives or dollars.

Go for it. You personally take that fight on over there and we'll all support you ... from over here.

So easy to talk big when it's not your or your kids' lives at stake. You're actually proud that your tin-horn bravado would cost thousands of young American lives, aren't you?

Walk the walk, dude, or don't talk the talk.

If there's going to be invading done, yes. If they invade you, everywhere will be hostile to them and friendly to you. Your supply lines will be nonexistent, but theirs will stretch across the globe. And they won't be able to attack and disappear into the population.

What will you do when Sharia law comes to our shores.
The same thing I do now: laugh at right-wing fear.

Iran invades us??? Did I read that right? WOW, You are way, way, out there. Maybe an International Airline will give them bulk rates on tickets here. How would that work with having an AK47 as "Carry on Luggage.?" Probably wouldn't work, since there are gun restrictions, so they would have to be packed as luggage? That wouldn't work either, since we now have "Gun Bans" on imported assault rifles. Or there is always booking a Cruise Ship or two.

How do you think they would accomplish that? Fill up Cargo Containers with fighters and ship them here?
Can't wait to see how you would accomplish all this invasion thingy.
