What I don't get is why won't a SINGLE REPUBLICAN come on this thread and admit that they want war with Iran!

It's not like we can defeat Iran anyway so I don't know why you're itching for that confrontation. Some of you obviously like losing wars.

We couldn't subdue Iraq, but you think you can subdue Iran? A much larger country with three times the population of Iraq with far more mountainous terrain?

What are you folks smoking?
What you can't accept is that your leftist MYTH has no basis in fact or history. You are just making up complete and utter garbage because that is what leftists do. They are clearly incapable of doing anything else.

The Republican budget cuts Medicare, ACA

The Republican budget proposed today:

House budget adds “emergency” war spending through the “overseas contingency operations” account, which does not count against the spending limits. The House budget includes $94 billion to fight the “global war on terrorism” in 2016, $43 billion more than Mr. Obama has requested.

Why would you think Republicans want war with Iran?

We need to increase military spending because it has been drastically cut in recent years, to a dangerous level. Some have said that we could not now fight a war on two fronts, if necessary.

Readiness is key to preventing war, and ensuring American security. Have you never heard the phrase, "Peace through strength?"

With Iran rising up, and Obama actually enabling it, instead of preventing it, like he should be doing, we could find the world in a far worse situation in a few years than it is right now, which is bad enough. We pulled out of Iraq too soon, against the advice of military leaders, and we are seeing the result of that. And now, Obama is about to allow Iran to become a nuclear power. That was the reason the Republicans wrote the open letter to the Iranian government.

Obama has now removed Iran and Hezbollah off the list of sponsors of Terror! The man is a fool! All the more reason to upgrade our military.

Nobody wants war; but we'd damn well better be ready to fight one, because if we aren't, war is sure to find us, because there are plenty of people that want war with the U.S.

A Republican president will have us in war in his first term. Not even a question.

We heard Bush complain about Iraq long before 9/11. We get 9/11 and he found a way to link it. A Republican president will do this drum up like the Subliminal Man until enough agree with you.

There's a lot of money to be made from war.

Loving the life over there in fantasy land aren't you? It would be refreshing if you people occasionally changed your approach. When you just run in circles screaming the evil Republicans are going to destroy the planet and turn all the old people into dog food it gets boring after a while.

Probably because many who lean right on this site are doing nothing but telling us we must stop iran from getting nukes, that iran is going to bomb us and israel? If that is not the intention of inciting people to go to war than what is? What next will you be claiming we need to invade iran because they have wmd's hidden somewhere? Just stop it already and admit the only reason you and the other right wingers want to go to war with iran is because you just want a war.

Israel is none of my concern.

Iran with or without a nuke is no threat to us.

You do want a war with Iran.

And defense spending has not dropped to dangerous levels. We still spends hundreds of billions too much on the military.

Sure, the GOP goons would love a war if it helped them get reelected. Worked great for shrub.

The GOP whores itself for the military, whether we need it or can afford it or not. Gun crazy macho dudes are their voting base. The Dems do the same thing for illegals. Neither really cares about the country as much as getting power, IMO.
