I know. I think he could have beat Obama, I for example would have voted for him. And I think many other independents would have.
I thought the Republicans were old racist dinosaurs. How will there be a "Republican led" war in 3 years when the Republicans are supposed to be dying out?
Much of what Paul believes in would be described as Progressive, at least in the historical sense. People need to quit taking over labels because they don't like their old ones any longer.
Holding the bankers accountable was once a "progressive" position. Not invading other countries was once a "progressive" position.
Accountability is definitely a cherished conservative/libertarian principle.
At one time it was something liberals also valued, but that was a long time ago.
