The difference between successful people and unsuccessful people is that successful people do all the things unsuccessful people don't want to do.
Most people don't want to work more than they have to. They do the minimum
they are paid to do. That's not the way to get ahead. Always do the best you
can, not the least you can get away with
Are you paying attention, McDonalds workers who are complaining you don't get paid $15 per hour???
If you're stuck in a low-end job and you go above and beyond what's asked of you, you might get rewarded, might get promoted, or you might not. There's people who get ahead because they simply know how to play the game better often or present themselves better, not always because they necessarily worked harder than the other guy. A lot of moving up is who you know or what else you have on your side. Often people can move up faster by just not saying anything stupid and appearing competent versus actual quality of work.
Talking about wealth is a different situation as people who build a fortune themselves--not from inheriting money and just managing it correctly which is fairly easy--are usually very hard working, but they're also smart enough to know where the opportunities are and be smart enough to save money and have it on hand for opportunities that might come up. There's plenty of people who work hard at building a business and then fail at it, because they just weren't in the right market at the right time and didn't save enough up. Likewise there's people very good at their roles who work harder than anyone else who might never move up because they're not "management material".
So what things are that? Seems like a very vague statement to make.
How about you read the article yourself. Obviously it isn't going to be a step-by-step guide, as everyone's personal circumstances are different. In general, however, if you go above and beyond at every task you're given, you're off to a much better start than someone who will give is giving a half-asses effort.

When you do your job, even if its just cleaning an office, do it as if somebody you want to impress is watching your every step.
Unless I were a millionaire or billionaire (and none of you are), I wouldn't be trumpeting the words of some rich guy pooping all over low income workers.
After all..why aren't YOU rich if you have all the answers?

You don't have to be "rich" (a millionaire or billionaire) to be successful.
