All I heard today on all the Sunday morning news shows was "we have to invest in our inner city youth" and the like - just nonSTOP about it, am I the only one SICK OF THIS ****?
These people are a g-- damn DRAG on American progress...a complete abyss. We have spent and spent and spent and spent on these people and what do we get?
How about you people TAKE SOME RESPONSIBILITY and GROW UP - that way we wouldn't have to babysit your people like little children.
I'm sick of it!
I agree- it has been money pis*ed down the drain.
Change must come from personal motivation and within. Unless "black culture" changes and there is an emphasis on education, two parent families, and respect for the rule of law, no amount of money will ever change the situation.
How do you help relatively poor areas? Cut corporate taxes to ZERO within five miles of these areas, provide state tax and energy incentives for these businesses, and muzzle the trial lawyer's association from filing a portfolio of "discrimination cases" against businesses who hire minority workers. Provide "public" corporate transportation for workers (buses) to get to work and back.
Handouts create nothing but dependency and are a waste of money.
Yeah, nothing will change with the same-old, same-old, same-old!!!!
I have been hearing the cries of MORE INVESTMENT for a LONG time.......it does not work. Well, it works for the lucky few who get $$$$$$$$$$$$ jacked into their pockets!
Baltimore Rally: Burn Down Stores to Get Them ‘Out of Our Communities’
Really scary to know that there are people - as stupid as the person quoted - like that walking around in America.
No stores, no food, no products.
Sure, makes perfect sense. /s
He also advocated shutting down restaurants and businesses that were protecting their investments.
Quote:
If they protected themselves against you, protect yourselves against them.
Don’t spend your money there.
Don’t give them no reason to be in your neighborhood. Kick them out.
Quote:
During a large rally in front of Baltimore’s City Hall, a young man introduced as “Brother Rose,” in winding and sometimes incoherent speech, praised the burning of a CVS store at the corner of Pennsylvania and North Avenues. “America didn’t care until we started affecting things they profit from… What we saying, ‘Let’s get you out of our communities.’”
He also said, “Without us running (unintelligible) Mondawmin Mall [the site of mass looting on Monday], taking back from the stores that have taken our dollars for how long, and not giving back to the community in any type of way. We made a statement. The world heard us then. They heard that the youth of Baltimore are going to get justice by any means necessary.”(continued)
Agree OP. There was some clown governor on msnbc this morning, tying Baltimore to the profits hedge funds make, collateralized mortgage obligations, etc. basically just fodder for low info voters.
Still waiting for a community leader to say, gee, maybe we have a strained relationship with the police bc the murder / violence rates of the black community is 10x any other culture / race.
The last two years, IMO, have sett he black community back tremendously. The agenda is being pushed and largely accepted that it's the rest of the country that needs to change to accommodate them, not that they need to change their culture.
Recent example - councilwoman in nyc proposed a bill making things like peeing in public, jumping subway turnstiles, etc a non criminal offense bc it 'unfairly effects the poor, minority community'

Um...would'nt that be considered racial profiling?
Interesting reversal from Martin Luther King.
King wanted integration and now they want total segregation.
Lets say they get black shop owners to open shops...those shops will be robbed as often as others in the inner city.
Black on Black crime still exists.
Even these black owned stores will leave the inner cities.
Well I think blacks do want integration but it is some fantasy integration where whites are the low folk and blacks are living larger over them. You know where the Civil Servants are mostly black, the Mayor is black, the Police Chief is black,etc.etc.
