James Taylor is an awesome artist and certainly qualified to comment on other artist's capabilities. To that I would pay attention. What he thinks about anyone in the political realm? Not so much.

James Taylor thinks Obama is greatest President of all-time | Fox News
He's seen fire and he's seen rain, but Mr Taylor has also smoked a few too many J's. Such a thing would have an adverse effect on those who do it.

JT is one of my favorites - as is Jimmy Buffett - both lean WAAAAAAaaay too far to the left for me.
I like them for their ability to write and play and sing music... as for their politics? They're not close to being in line with me...

He's actually very much there and articulate, he's been sober for decades. I will say, artists of such stature tend to have a hard time judging politicians because they aren't the average american, therefore the people in office don't affect them as much. Whether you're liberal or conservative or somewhere inbetween, Obama hasn't done the best job for any of us.

that's incorrect, though I'm sure he smoked his fair share of marijuana, there's no physical evidence that casual marijuana use has negative affects on the brain. He was predisposed to depression and subsequently turned to heroine, but his notions towards the president are simply existent because he's a wealthy celebrity that doesn't live in the "now". Though I love his music.

The guy is a Pisces, with Mars, Saturn and Pluto in Leo.

He IS Fire and Rain.

Isn't it interesting that the leftists think that the last two presidents were the worst and best? They have a very myopic view of the world and a poor grasp of history, not to mention a lack of a foundation in reality.

He got Moon in Aires, too!

Not to mention, Jupiter in Sagittarius.

It wouldn't be that difficult to determine into which Houses these planets fall.
