Funny that you mention that:

Clinton Foundation took at least $1,250,000 from Qatar and its World Cup committee implicated in FIFA bribery scandal
  • 'Qatar 2022 Supreme Committee' is the entity responsible for organizing the Gulf state's 2022 World Cup bid and the resulting preparations
  • Clinton Foundation website discloses donations from the committee of between $250,001 and $500,000, including a donation in 2014
  • Qatar itself has donated betwen $1 million and $5 million to the foundation, and did it before 2014
  • The tiny Middle Eastern country won the rights to host the 2022 global soccer tournament in December 2010
  • Clinton Foundation later said Qatar worked toward 'utilizing its research and development for sustainable infrastructure at the 2022 FIFA World Cup'

If they are found to have been involved in this, then they need to be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law. If the Obama Justice Department is unwilling or unable to act with that sort of objectivity, then he and the other leaders of this regime are at least as corrupt as anyone they are giving preferential treatment to.

The USG tends to not act against things that threaten the state/economy from a vital standpoint. This Fifa thing is corruption. They went after it because it means nothing. The Clinton's represent a vital part of the political establishment. Them going down means a huge loss of confidence in establishment politics and it would undermine legitimacy.

Nothing will happen to the Clintons.

I have no idea why Clinton Foundation is being linked to just what FIFA has been doing like for decades!! IF you think Clinton Foundations has a deep foot in their door..you may re-think that realizing just HOW FIFA has operated.

Fifa in crisis amid corruption arrests and World Cup voting inquiry

The Only reason USA can actually warrant and arrest folks whether inside USA and those outside..is rather simple..It's taken decades to gather evidence of their "Money Laundering" tactics..But since Fifa chose to use American banking system with a headquarters located within NY State...I'm betting this has been on the newest DOJ leader is very well aware of this!! Switzerland has extradition agreements with USA..and did their RAID prior to hitting USA news Media..LOL Im sure they hated they didn't get that scoop!!

BTW~~ trying to derail topic to include Politics is rather transparent ..LOL

Sounds like a name for a ***** (female dog). You would think that there would be a better name for a group that sanctions kicking balls. Maybe the ultra-feminists like it and see it as poetic.

Since when is exposing corruption considered meddling, this has been going on for decades, pay to play.
I am sure Russia bought and paid for their country in 2018, there were better countries that could have been chosen to host the soccer.

The vote to have the 2022 cup in Qatar left out any reasonable doubt of the extent of corruption, playing soccer in 110 degree weather in the desert.

Good job by Lynch and the FBI.

Yeah but odd timing that the US decided they had to crack down now and focus on the future games in Russia and Qatar.

Obviously the Swiss didn't care and FIFA is headquartered in Zurich.

But the US has taken on the job of tackling corruption in the field of soccer.
Many are asking why the US because there are a host of other countries much more deeply involved with FIFA than the US.

The US did lose out to Qatar. Maybe this will turn things around the the US will be the host country.
