A REFUNDABLE tax credit is welfare. It's additional income one didn't earn.

LOL. ahh yes flat tax nonsense.

Sorry but taxing the necessities of life is inherently wrong.

Even better picking the lower boundary is foolish, it would not fund government.

Tell you what, lets compromise?

Set the federal rate to 50% flat. Pay for government, then distribute the remainder as a basic income equally to all adults on a monthly basis.

Bonus points-include a link to a website breaking them down into 1K granularity.

Government is pi*s poor at investing but it's people like you who support giving more of our money for government to keep wasting.
Because government knew they'd get their money back from the banks plus interest.
Bailing out the people would be akin to flushing it down the toilet.

People aren't good about paying back Uncle Sam. Student loan default rate is 14%, delinquent student loans is at 51%.

Let me volunteer for your society. I'll sit on my ass and still collect a "basic income" paycheck.

Yes. Just ask JFK.

6 lessons from JFK on tax policy
In the liberals warped mind, the money people work for is the governments money... slavery.

Like a sex slave on the street that works but the pimps takes the money she earned and claims the money as his money and very little left for her. Same mindset.

Sorry but taxing anyone's productivity is wrong. If our government is going to make us tax slaves by taxing our productivity, we should all be slaves for the same percentage of the year. Earn more. Pay more. Earn less. Pay less.

LOL. You go ahead and do that-apparently thats your thing, tell everyone how you love living on $1200 a month.

In the meantime more motivated people will do whatever it is you do now.

win-win
