Kentuckians, and indeed all Americans, deserved a final determination of what the law in this country would be, and that is the reason we pursued an appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court. Today's opinion finally provides that clarity.

All Cabinets of the executive branch have been directed to immediately alter any policies necessary to implement the decision from the Supreme Court.

Effective today, Kentucky will recognize as valid all same-sex marriages performed in other states and in Kentucky. I have instructed the Kentucky Department of Libraries and Archives to provide revised marriage license forms to our county clerks for immediate use, beginning today. We will report additional expected policy changes in the coming days."
Gov. Beshear.
Governor Beshear cannot issue an unconstitutional order.

And the governor didn't, so there is no problem.

If sexual "orientation" is to be considered a protected class then logically you have to extend protection to pedophiles. Maybe being horny or rapists will next become a protected class lol.

You don't know that US courts operate as common law courts, where precedent from judicial decisions carry as much weight as statute law? Wikipedia has a good article, worth a read.

Tell us more about sodomy, you seem to be so wise on this topic. Also, why would anyone be ordering the National Guard go kill homosexuals? That makes no sense....

A guess you didn't know about anti-sodomy laws, eh? Age of consent laws could be changed too with the media pushing a pedophile agenda.

Who cares what the governor thinks, his opinion does not trump reality or constitutional law, which Tony, Sonia, Stephen, Ruth, and Elena violated.

There are no anti sodomy laws anymore, they were all repealed or struck down. To think, you could have been having all sorts of sodomy fun for the past 15 years.
