Lesson learned...do not change lanes without signalling in Texas, unless you want to hang yourself in jail.

'On July 10, an officer stopped Bland for not signaling during a lane change in Waller County, Texas, 50 miles northwest of Houston. The Chicago-area native was in Texas to start a new job.'

Sure, blame the laws and the police for a weak minded individual committing suicide.

These Obama supporters do not know the truth when it's on their nose. They twist the truth just like their fearless leader.

This video really isn't all that helpful. All we see is her on the ground, and that's the whole video. We don't know anything that happened before that, other than it was a traffic stop. And if that's all it was (I haven't followed this story much), I agree that this is absurd, but for all I know she pulled a sword out and the cops reacted as most sensible people.

Of course, it's terribly that she hung herself in prison, and from what I understand it, she kicked a cop, so she still acted in the wrong, though a decent enough argument could exist to say that putting her in jail was excessive. All the same, the fact that she hung herself is far more troubling to me.

She wasn't sentenced to jail, she was in holding until she posted bail, that's how it works.

The jailer should be brought under charges , usually there are cameras in those cells.
If not there should be.

She made a video apologizing for being gone for awhile and that she suffered from depression and post traumatic stress disorder. She seemed upbeat in the video, but depression can change one's mood very quickly.

They aired the video on the news yesterday.

It does not incite the same level of outrage if we pretend she might have just had a burned out directional light.
