BLM if you will read my posts, is a movement about the civil rights of Blacks that have been and are being killed and the lack of justice that exists. Do not misunderstand, just because the name of the movement is not All Lives Matter. It is not based on discrimination, it's specific to the need that exists. Furthermore, it's apparent that all lives do not matter, because Blacks are treated differently by the criminal justice system.
For the record, Dylann Roof could have received a bag of popcorn/candy bar or bologna sandwich once he was processed. Furthermore, he had just murdered several people. I would think the injustice of his hunger could take a backseat to the lives he had just taken. And, Michael Brown, by the way did not have criminal record. And, he was unarmed at the time he was killed by the officer. When did it become okay to assassinate the character of the victim? Because he had to be a thug by virtue of his brown skin? But, sympathy and courtesies are due to another person who admitted to the premeditated murder of defenseless people worshiping God, people who were non-confrontational and if he needed help would have probably went out of their way to provide it to him.
Video showed Michael Brown committing a robbery. His weapon was himself, which he used quickly and brutally, when the officer finally was able to defend himself.
Telling the truth is hardly character assassination. Did you not see the video of Michael Brown assaulting the store owner with the intent to steal? Are you conveniently ignoring that? What about that guy's life? Guess it doesn't matter either?
And do tell, what "need" exists where a movement that started out violently (riots, etc), and has morphed into the call for murdering innocent cops? Again, it is noted that in trying to justify this group, you are in fact condoning the murder of INNOCENT people. It's quite apparent that ONLY black lives matter to you, whether the white person is guilty or innocent.
Only anti-police towards the officers who commit criminal acts. These are the officers they are chanting about. Not ALL police officers, we have family members that are police officers, detectives and sergeants too. Not all cops are bad, just a few and we want them removed from their positions of authority. Additionally, it's not about hate, it's about correcting injustice. Any one can be a part of the movement, white, black, yellow, red, green, cerulean blue...
So that cop that was murdered in cold blood had committed a criminal act?
I was thinking about this issue just today and it really upsets me, but not for the reason you might think. I was raised in Cleveland in the 1950's and my father worked at a foundry in the "flats" downtown. Every day of my life I would hear his litany of racial crap about black people. After growing up and seeing more of the world and meeting all sorts of people I am proud to say that I overcame this upbringing and hold no animous (sp) toward any particular group, be they black, gay, hispanic, etc. I also raised my son to be completely colorblind and am proud that he is. However, when I see a group like BLM saying that my and my son's life doesn't matter, when I see a police officer executed for being a white cop, when I see the people in Ferguson rioting over a thug who we WATCHED rob a store on video and who charged a police officer, when I see all this those long-buried prejudices begin to rise up inside me and it PISSES ME OFF. I bend over backward so as not to offend anybody in my daily life, but these people are really trying my patience and understanding. Maybe if you don't commit most of the crimes, police won't target you. Maybe if 78% of black kids weren't born without a father in the home they wouldn't have such a high incarceration rate. Maybe if you would focus on the 95% of black young men who are killed by other black young men, things could change. When you point your finger at the white man, there are three more pointing back at you. All lives matter.

name one time the BLM movement has ever qualified their rhetoric with 'only bad cops should be murdered'.
You won't be able to because they haven't, they don't and they never will.

No, when BLM keeps bringing up the fact that "X" amount of people are killed by police each year as a way of condemning the police--without mentioning that the overwhelming majority of those kills were justified--they show themselves to be anti-police.
