I love how right-wingers are concerned about greed and hyperinflation when college students, 9-5 workers, and retirees want some basic protections.

But they LOVE greed when CEO's lay off workers by the thousands, offshore capital, and take in billions in corporate welfare.

Young people are not "stupid", but ignorant instead. They lack knowledge because they allow the media, electronic gadgets and celebrities to form their belief systems and values. Expect this trend to get worse as todays young people have children- both generations will become even more ignorant. The prevailing attitude in our culture seems to be "as long as I get what I want", nothing else matters. We have become a lazy apathetic and ignorant society- because to think for oneself is requires some discipline and effort.

Bernie, just what is your "fair share" of what someone else earned?

And most all of their Professors outside of Core and STEM areas would never be able to get a job outside of the university.

Actually, the young people are the ones wanting to help others and protect our planet. It's those who hate any form of social programs or acknowledgement that the market can't solve everything who better fit the description of " as long as I get what I want".

I don't agree with Bernie but those extremists most fervently against him are the ones who think poor people are just lazy.

After 8 years of Obama failed policies, it seems like they are hungry for more, the future of America
A lot of people over 40 support government handouts or pensions with no end. People have been accepting of somebody else paying for their needs since the 60's. Some young people are just a product of the system and their peers.

So what you are telling us is that you don't know the difference between Marxist and Social Democrat. Nor do you seem to know what a Centrist is....let me guess, everyone to the left of you is a far left commie Marxist liberal.

You do realize that liberal arts degrees are in high demand in the tech industry, right?

They need people to think bigger picture, not just put widgets together.

I think that the OP should take an English 101 class before they insult the intelligence of others.

So, what's the solution? Data shows that the highest concentrations of the 47% not paying income tax live in the rural South.

Data shows that the states that take the most and produce the least are in the deep South as well.

So how do we break their culture of dependence and get this country great again? I don't blamr the people but what economies could make these rural areas more productive?

Let's stop complaining and start looking for solutions.

That is just a hard working CEO trying to pull himself up by the bootstraps straps and try to get ahead, never mind that involves walking on top of everyone below him to do that.

I think it has more to do with wishing that they too could be a greedy CEO and feel that if they give the greedy CEOs what they want that they too one day might be a greedy rich CEO.
