I will say The Democrats were much more presidential than the GOP who basically were fighting, name calling, and arguing about which country to bomb first. The GOP debates just seem like d*** measuring contests.

Actually if you watch the news - in the RNC debate the moderators when interviewed before the debate said that the questions they asked would lead to pitting the candidates against each other - where as Anderson Cooper stated in his predebate interview that the questions posed to the DNC candidates would try to illicit more of how they stand on positions. Two completely different formats - was that fair not to run both the same - I don't think so

I was thinking about that while watching the debate tonight. But who chose whom? Did the RNC go to Fox deliberately? What I saw tonight was much more professional, and I'd like to see candidates from both parties in that sort of forum. Much of the GOP debate was comical, and it wasn't all due to the candidates but also the moderators.

I would love to see the US become Democratic Socialist nation like the Scandinavian countries, instead of a country run by the RICH Parasites of society, exclusively for the Rich, as it has become.

Make the thieving blood-suckers pay for free public college tuition, and health care for all.
I also loved what Bernie Sanders had to say about gun control, unlike Clinton... who like Obama would disarm Americans despite her denial.

I think it was a foregone conclusion prior to the debate, the modertors were going to make sure they didn't bait the candidates against each other. I will add, none won the debate: it was borin as all get out: Thank God the Dodger/Mets game was on. It gave us something exciting to switch over to watch.

Independent voter here-

After watching these five, felt very disappointed. Hopefully one of the middle pack GOPers rises because any of the Dem candidates or Trump result in the worst possible choice, imo.

CNN is describing Clinton as "polished." That's another way of saying fake when it comes to politics. Let's be clear, she said exactly what the polls and her handlers told her to say tonight. She had nothing original or new, but I'll give her credit where credit's due... She is an excellent politician, never mind the fact that she's corrupt and a liar. Her "performance" tonight, and let's be clear... it was a "performance," only reminded me of all the reasons I will NEVER vote for her.

I thought O'Malley did a pretty good job.

Sanders was a complete fail, especially when he gave Clinton a pass on the tens of thousands of emails that she paid professional consultants to erase from her home computer. It absolutely matters that she violated the law by storing Top Secret Compartmentalized Intelligence information on her home server and then paid someone to erase it all. If you or I did that we would be in prison. Her dismissive attitude when it comes to the law scares the crap out of me. I really hope the American voters are smart enough to eventually recognize just how corrupt she is.
