Two wrongs don't equal a right.
While I sympathize with women who have been raped (because I was also), I also sympathize with children (developing human beings) who are at risk of having their bodies ripped apart and killed by abortion.
Children, no matter under what circumstances they were conceived, have the right to life!
"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."
Notice, that rights are "endowed by their Creator" - they are not rights given by government or even a mother - they are given by CREATION. Unalienable means "unable to be taken away from or given away by the possessor."

I've always said that if Conservatives really believed the life @ conception line, they should be opposed to abortion even in rape cases. But it was never really about religion and life @ conception, just a round about attempt to control women.

Well, if right to lifers are willing to "compromise" on this issue, deciding the some lives are worthy of protection and some aren't, their stated conviction that "all life is sacred" and "all children have a right to life" isn't really all that strong, is it?
Since most people die in accidents or by natural causes anyways we should let murderers off.
