Then Al Gore a big global warming advocate lives n a 20-room mansion (not including 8 bathrooms) that consumes more energy in a month than the average American household does in a year.

So all the money spent repairing New Orleans was just more government wasteful spending.

I bet they drove SUV's; otherwise, that cave wouldn't be 300 feet underwater.

The Cosquer cave is located in France, not Spain, and the entrance is 37 meters (121 feet) under sea level, not 300 feet....It was occupied during the last glacial period, so of course ocean levels were much lower then.... That has nothing to do with what is happening today.

No hope? I don't know about that. The Dolphins looked pretty good yesterday. Sorry, don't mean to undermine a serious issue, but I thought we could use a break from the doom and gloom beyond our control.

Cool! Have a sell off so I can afford to buy a nice waterfront condo in S. FL to enjoy for the rest of my life and pass on to my decendents so they too can enjoy the Atlantic coast right where it is today. I might buy a few marinas to invest in as well. So go ahead sell, sell, sell so it becomes cheap, cheap, cheap!.

Miami isn't going anywhere, anytime soon or in the forseeable future!

Tinfoil is not needed for science sites, unlike the conspiracy sites that some deniers frequent.

2015 is on track for being the warmest year globally ever recorded....

The combined average temperature over global land and ocean surfaces for September 2015 was the highest for September in the 136-year period of record, at 0.90°C (1.62°F) above the 20th century average of 15.0°C (59.0°F). https://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/sotc/global/201509
