You probably know the answer by now but it is how do dems lose, not loose. Their wheels became loose and hence they did lose.

Because when it was all said and done... they didn’t reach the 270 vote threshold?

Democrats have a built-in edge in the Electoral College. But it guarantees them nothing for 2016

1 there aren't a hell of a lot of "swing states." Giving that extra Nebraska vote to the GOP, all that remains are 10 states, totaling 116 electoral votes, that have offered their electoral votes to both parties since 2000.

2 the Republicans have to win the outsized majority of those "swing" electoral votes to win the presidency. If the Democrats can hold onto just 24 percent of the electoral votes "in play," they win the White House.

You were saying?

Ohio does not belong in that group.

Ha ha -- I see I was responding to something from 2015. Still, it was ridiculous even in foresight. Ohio was not young or ethnically diverse.

I don’t think that Schwarzenegger counted as a REAL REPUBLICAN. The unpopularity of Gray Davis and Schwarz’ star power is what got him in. He was really pretty RINO. I doubt that Calif would elect another Repub in my lifetime.

…………… by being democrats.

Dems have moved so far to the left that they have abandoned anyone who is a moderate.
