In words of the Islamist who fools the gullible West often.

'Fatwas are dime a dozen, they are meaningless'. - Reza Aslan

He said this for a fatwa that raised eyebrows, guess what, it applies to those feel-good fatwas as well.

Bin Laden issued a Fatwa against the US. It was a declaration of war, and ended in 9/11. It was not meaningless. I don't' care what Reza says.

No, he didn't. Bin Laden was not an Islamic scholar. Bin Laden was an "operator." He planned and directed 9/11--he didn't issue fatwas, he issued orders.

I'd be OK with that as a start.

It will be interesting to see how Muslims view this considering ISIS is strictly following their interpretation of the Koran and teachings of He who may not be cartoon drawn.
Won't happen. Nobody is committing Genocide because of a few terrorists.

Except it holds no weight at all since ISIS wants to wipe out the Shiites. I had read a link that the Indian Muslims were Shiites, but have since read that they have both Shiites and Sunnis there so maybe I'm wrong and these guys were Sunnis. I don't recall if the article stated it, but I will look again.

The numerical majority of Iraqis are actually Shiites. That was the "problem" with having fair democratic elections--the Shiites won.

I'm liking them dividing up to bicker internally; could reap good results.
It's been Muslim against Muslim for 1400 years--literally since Muhammad died.

I would put my life back together and go on living, as most people do. Outliers don't make your point.

They call it retaliating. We had NO excuse or reason to bomb Syria in the first place.
I doubt whether US bombing in Syria has turned even a single person from an ISIS hater to an ISIS supporter.
