Another example of the increasing and mainstream gun culture in America. In a single day almost 200k guns were sold. This tops record sales over the last 6 months, with each month put pacing the previous record month.

Black Friday breaks record with 185K gun background checks

This is just the further extension of the expansion of civil rights. Hopefully scotus takes one of the cases pending so those in deep blue territory will be able to excersize the rights enjoyed in the 40+ other states.

The Gun sales are just a reflection of the times.

More and more people are buying them.

I'm 62 and have had guns since I was 17. I enjoy target shooting, and tinkering with my collection.
Looking back, have never shot anyone, but have brought many newcomers to the hobby.

However, the propaganda machine says gun ownership at record low!!!!!

"The number of Americans who live in a household with at least one gun is lower than it’s ever been, according to a major American trend survey that finds the decline in gun ownership is paralleled by a reduction in the number of Americans who hunt."

The intent is to sway the populaton into thinking only the odd man out is a gun owner. Subtle pressure to re-evaluate and consider that, "wow, I own a gun and must be a dinosaur, behind the times".

Apparently the survey made some wrong assumptions and their propaganda effort fell short just as it did when they tried to make everyone beklieve that the wall st protestors represnted 99% of the population.

The propaganda machine, where qualitative date is disguised as quantitative data.

Not necessarily, if anything it means those who own guns are buying more guns.

Interesting. The more the gun grabbers try to disarm the American people the more armed the American people become. Per FBI stats, over 220 million purchases since 1998. That's a lot of guns. I seriously doubt those were all bought by existing gun owners U78.

I think it has more to do with gun shops, it is good business to have their customers paranoid.

That's what anti-gun folks want you to believe. Its actually new Gun owners, and a lot of Women are now buying guns too. Have seen them in the Gun Stores. Have seen them on shooting ranges.

No one is buying that crap anymore, that the same gun owners are buying the Millions of guns being sold.
