No one is buying that crap anymore, that the same gun owners are buying the Millions of guns being sold.
Oh I am sure you think millions of people who never owned guns are running out buying up guns. That isn't the case, but I know that isn't something you will ever accept.

Your right. Gun Grabbers are achieving the exact opposite of what they are trying to do. Love it. More used guns to buy down the road.

Of course its not the same folks buying more guns. Its New Gun Owners. Used Guns are selling like hotcakes too. Especially the "Scary Looking" ones that they hate so much.

You evidently don't get out much, but if thinking that blows your skirt up, go right ahead. Take comfort in know its just us old gun owners buying more guns.

How about if I say, "Heck, I bought 450 of them last week." Does that make you feel better?

The amount of guns you own is not a concern of mine, but I bet you do own more than one.

I don't know of any gun shops that actually push any thing not in my lifetime .
Some one comes in looking for a gun ,they show them what they have in stock that matches the need the customer is asking for.
With that there are test to take and back ground checks to be done , at least around here.
I haven't bough a new gun in several years now ,just because I have all the guns I want ,and pretty much all the ammo I want as well ,although how much is enough is a relative term.
Much of my trigger time is on air guns, and because they are cheap to shoot, and relatively quiet, I can shoot as often as I want .
Those I have trained ,I start with air guns that pretty much match the weapon they hope to purchase.
Safety handling maintain the same issues.
I've seen people get talked into buying the wrong gun "by family", and they end up not practicing because it is uncomfortable to shoot .
They end up buying a second gun that matches their need more enjoyable to shoot, and practice with .
Ideally , some shooting ranges provide rentals that a person can try out and find what fits .

That's smart.

Everyone is buying everything they can before either Obama or Hillary take away our rights and try to outright confiscate our guns. Remember Hillary and Bill are the folks behind the first Assault Weapons Ban in 1984. They are as dangerous to freedom as Diane Fienstien and other anti-American socialists. I am concerned the country is headed toward a showdown over gun and civil rights in general. I hope the govt doesn't try to take our guns.

I am a firearm instructor, I am pretty sure the vast majority of people in my county and state would resist confiscation most vigorously. Many of my students are older, retired folks - the average "law abiding citizen." They are afraid. Afraid of crime and criminal attack, and they are almost universally afraid of their government. I have never been so busy - my classes are selling out in advance. People are SCARED!

I agree with Arleigh on gum purchases. I see quite a few folks with the "wrong" guns. My particular beef is guys who decide a .38 snubbie is the best gun for a woman. It is not, in most cases. The sights suck and the .38 round is quite robust and packs a wallop. Time and again I have ladies in class who arrive for class with brand new polymer Ruger LCR's. They shoot ONE cylinder and shake their hand because their palm is bruised - and ask me, "Have you got something else I can shoot?"

Or a .380 popgun, LCP or god forbid a KelTec. Great guns, for a specific purpose (deep concealment) but practicing is not it. Please, please, folks - if you are getting your first or only handgun, please look into a mid size, high capacity, polymer 9mm to start. I don't care what make though I prefer Glock, Springfield, Ruger, Smith.

Sounds like business has been booming for you, as long as their afraid they will keep pumping money into your business. I wonder how much you try to sell this to potential customers to help drum up more business.

This is just the further extension of the expansion of civil rights. Hopefully scotus takes one of the cases pending so those in deep blue territory will be able to excersize the rights enjoyed in the 40+ other states.
I think William Holder bought half of them.

Not at all and I RESENT your implication that I would. I don't have to sway people's thinking - if anything in my classes I have to tone their fears down, with reason that the chance of their actually needing a firearm are probably quite small.

I would say currently about 40% or my students are older women buying their first gun. I get a number of widows. One was 89, and called me two weeks after her husband passed to teach her how to shoot his gun.

People ARE scared - and I'm not the one scaring them. It is the neo-liberal anti-gun anti-american socialists who are causing all this, and the media constantly promoting the mass shootings - and the IDIOTS in govt and education refusing to see that no gun zones kill people. Blame them, not me.

Sorry for the typo, I don't usually make that mistake.

Oh I don't know, why wouldn't you want to scare people? You seem to believe there is a reason for them to be scared to begin with, plus it is good for business, so why not make some money in the process.

Oh good, what can go wrong with elderly people with guns....

Sure you aren't the one scaring people, but I doubt you bother to correct them about no one is coming for their guns. Oh, and I love the no gun zone excuse, which has nothing to do with shootings.

And I am not blaming you, I support you making more money at the expense of idiots.
