Maybe he's been spending all his spare time in Iraq looking for all those WMD?

Have you seen George W. Bush recently?

Nope.

Maybe he's back on the bottle.

He's dropped out, like no other president in modern history.

His decision to lay low may be in part to his health, what with the scary heart issue he had, and it may be because he's not real popular with Democrats or Republicans.

Funny how all the right wing radio guys worshipped him, and therefore their listeners did as well, and said that anyone who opposed him was unpatriotic and gave aid and comfort to the enemy (Hannity used to say this regularly). So many of you went lock step with every misadventure he carried out and shilled for him on boards like this incessantly.

Now he's vanished. Strange indeed.

Most ex-Presidents retire from the public eye except for charitable events and private speaking engagements. You guys are looking through a Bill Clinton who just can't stay out of the limelight lens.

I think he feels guilty, he knows he F'd up (esp. in Iraq). Even his body language looks 'sorry.' And he was never at the level of a Clinton or Carter who stayed hard at work trying to help many of the world's problems after leaving office. Ultimately, GW Bush really was just a 'regular guy you might want to have a drink with' and nothing more (aside from being born into a rich family).

Jeb needs to be careful. He has already trotted out his 90 year old mother. Now, he's going with his loser brother? WOW! He's desperate!

Now all you hear is the sound of crickets. Why is he not out firing up the base on behalf of his brother's flagging aspirations for President? Very, very strange that a man who once had rock star status with the conservative base is now completely forgotten.

Why is this?

Maybe he's staying the hell out of politics.

And I don't think Jesus Himself could resurrect Jeb's campaign.
