Me neither. It's been 7 years since this man left the highest office in the land, and he has made hardly any public appearances. In fact, you can count on one hand how many times he has been seen, and heard, in public.

I find this strange because he was practically worshipped by Republicans for 8 years, his deep Christian faith, his hawkish military adventurism in Iraq, and his defense of traditional marriage had the entire conservative base in the U.S. practically swoon on his every spoken word.

Now all you hear is the sound of crickets. Why is he not out firing up the base on behalf of his brother's flagging aspirations for President? Very, very strange that a man who once had rock star status with the conservative base is now completely forgotten.

Why is this?

We see him in TX all the time. He does a lot of charity events especially for Vets.

Now if Obama will just disappear. Doubt his ego will let him.

The less seen of (any) Bush the better. I hope obama slips into obscurity along with him.

You'll see him soon. He's coming out to campaign for Jeb in SC. He was pretty popular there.

Who knows? He might be a welcome relief from all the nastiness. He is, after all, a pretty nice guy.

Bush 43 was 'practically worshipped' by RINOs, not fiscal conservatives.

Because people still have A LOT of questions that he probably doesn't want to answer.

I do imagine he will be very popular in the south, and we may very well see our former President come out from hiding. We shall see.

I hope he campaigns for Jeb (exclamation point). That will put a nail in that pitiful political coffin for good. Maybe the reason no one has seen him is because he realizes how popular he is.
