Anybody but a person who has had 2 decisions overturned by the US Supreme Court.
Sotomayor is both an embarrassment and a disaster. RBG actually cares about the SCOTUS.
I'm not glad he's dead, but I am glad that he is no longer a United States Supreme Court Justice. How he left the high court really doesn't matter to me.
Now the Republicans in Congress will have a choice:
*Manifest a rare display of responsibility and allow a vote on whoever President Obama nominates, or
*Pay the price with the majority of the electorate, who is uninterested in their sort of serial obstructionism
You grossly underestimate how very concerned many have become at the Court's increasing erosion of our Constitutional Rights.
Obama is so dirty and lies so much, I would not put it passed Obama to kill Scalia off because of his Conservative stand. I also believe he threatened Justice Roberts and he complied with Obama on Obamacare. Obama couldn't threaten Scalia so he is dead because of his stand on the same sex marriage. Obama got his way with justice Kennedy and probably got him to vote for accepting gay marriage with threats. Obama will lie and do what he has to do to get his way. I believed Obama used the IRS to go after conservatives to halt there power to go against Obama,s extreme views and transformation of this country.

This is terrible news. Obama is probably salivating. He will appoint some anti-Constitution liberal who will work to destroy what remains of our Constitutional Republic.
Very bad news for America.
Obama will either defer to the next POTUS....or the above ^^^^^^. IMO, if he decided to make an appointment, the ideology of the nominee would be far more important than absolute maximization of the odds of confirmation.
