What's going to happen to the Senate in the next election? Any seats up for grabs?
Tons. Republicans have to defend 24 seats, Democrats only 10. The Senate could likely flip since it's a presidential election which typically has a higher Dem turnout. Who knows, waiting could work out well for Democrats.

There is always 1/3 of the Senate up every two years. This year 34 seats are up, 24 currently held by Repubicans, 10 held by Democrats. Basically the exact opposite of 2014 when far more Democratic seats were up.
So he's going to let Hillary pick 4 Supreme Court justices? It's his legacy.
Republicans are completely rolling the dice here. If they lose the Senate and the presidency, they could end up really wishing they hadn't waited. Poetic but funny.
If McConnell used Scalia's death to attack Obama, thats a dirtbag move, without a doubt.
To the rest of your post, you're nuts. Republicans don't care if you pray, or if you do, or where if you do. You've bought into propaganda and maybe have seen some of the nuts that have been elected. By and large, we don't care what you do, where you do it, or if you even do it. I'd say the majority of Republicans are those who just want to live and let live.
Yes, we keep electing these bozos. I won't argue that. But, you can't put that kind of label on all of us. And I say us, but I'm more of an Independent Conservative that occasionally votes Liberal.
Sorry - I was specifically referring to some of the candidates and all the rhetoric. I don't like labels either. Most people I know are Republicans and I would never judge them harshly. I was only thinking of the political climate we've been in lately.
It was the liberals on the court in the Kelo case who said people's homes can be taken by eminent domain to benefit private developers. You are entirely backwards on who are the villains on the court. Of course that is to be expected from people who are happy over someone's death.
This was a U.S. Supreme Court Decision in 2005.
