Weird story.
>>>> Like from Steve Martin's early film " The Jerk". His character gets his name put in the phonebook and he's ecstatic now that he's somebody and that people will know he exists. He's then chosen at random to be the target of a deranged sniper who keeps muttering " Goddamn run of the mill random victim".
There was a shooter down in the southwest that was targeting random people and shooting from a car apparently. I think they got him but I also think there another shooter in another state down there. They caught one in the Allentown Pa area who murdered several people at random some months ago.

Nothing. Some people seem to have it out for Uber, why I don't know. Maybe because they're quicker & more reliable than your average taxi service & costs a little more because of it? I guess this angers some.

He sideswiped a car, blew a stop sign and drove 80 mph with a fare in his car, she called 911 on him and tweeted her experience before the cops caught up with him.

Just another Caucasian terrorist. Could you imagine what Trump would be saying if the guy was Muslim?

Is there a meter?

How does the pricing work?

It's all done electronically, you have an app on your phone that gives you the drivers location, and they yours. Payment is made online, no cash exchanged, no tip required

Sounds cool, for those with a "phone".

I think it has more to do with the fact that he picked up fares in between the shootings and that really scares people who regularly use Uber. One couple called Uber, the shooter showed up and they canceled the ride because they wanted to stay at a club a little longer. That would be scary in hindsight for most people.

I will always accept it. I do not condemn the tool used to commit murder, I condemn the man and the man only.
