So your response is "That sounds stupid". Let me help you some by maybe trying to explain some. Capitalism works as long as money flows between buyers and sellers. As the buyers become poorer capitalism fails. The goal of many in capitalism is to have the most money. If you get REALLY good at that you cause a economy to stagnate or fail.

Even worse is you start seeing a failure to allocate resources correctly, for example truly smart people get into managing money instead of being engineers that build bridges, or design software. Or you see capitalism corrupt the underlying government.

Now dont get me wrong, capitalism is one of the best 'isms out there. But....we should not slavishly follow it to our own destruction. We should in fact watch it carefully, nurture it as much as possible, and deal with it in a rational manner in places where it fails. But pretty much everything if followed exactly fails. Socialism fails, capitalism fails. Stop acting like "my ism is the best!" and start saying "Capitalism is awesome except for X, Y, and Z, how do we fix those, and still keep the best system?". Or take some time and think about what are the best things you can take from other 'isms that are compatible.

As for the folks calling others names. Yes I know its hard to not get too emotionally involved in this thing. But you will end up taking naps for it, and the mods HAVE to do that or this devolves into name calling. I've taken a couple vacations from here for doing it, and it was correct. Once because I got too emotional, and once....because well...it just slipped out.

As for "OMG you are a snitch!" that people are accusing each other of. Well I am, and its very tempting to report everyone insulting folks. IM the snitch. Yes, thats BOTH sides. I want a place to argue and discuss things with people, not call each other names.

Please folks, remember, in the end....we really care about our country, and whats going on. Think of that as the unifying aspect, not as the separating one. The person you insulted? They argue because they CARE. BOTH sides.

Be that as it may, the lack of accountability by bureaucrats in Brussels was the other major component.
Rotherham was Pakistani so not affected by EU and Brexit so if that's why they voted to Leave there in for a shock when they find nothing will change

Why do you think he said that? And furthermore, Obama has been pushing hard for more EU membership of Eastern-European countries, including our actions in Ukraine, and NATO's actions all across Eastern-Europe, from Estonia to Turkey.

US Needs to Think Twice About Antagonizing Russia

If you don't think Obama is a New World Order stooge, open your eyes man.

As Pknopp referenced, the TPP. That is all part of the globalist agenda that Obama is pushing along, even though his own party opposes it. And this doesn't even take into consideration his desire to overrun our borders with immigrants, to destroy any semblance of resistance to further immigration, and thus to destroy our borders altogether.

The costs of being forced, yes forced by the EU, to take in thousands of immigrants while self funding their basic needs far exceeds the potential drop in GDP. Surprising the Economist article didn't mention immigration costs burdened by the U.K.

Oh, EU does kick in some money? Where do you think the EU gets that money? That's right, the U.K., Germany and others pay into the EU's coffers. The EU doesn't create wealth. Norway is the happiest country partially because it's not under the EU's fist.

Greece likes the EU. It's rumored that Puerto Rico wants to join the EU.

Where is this rumor? I've looked and cannot find it. I'm seeing some really wild posts the last couple of days. It's like every right wing conspiracy theory has been set free with the Brexit vote.
