No. You can't impeach over policy disagreements.

All these claims have no merit and boil down to policy disagreeements.

I don't like the guy either, but we elected him twice.

In 20 or so years he'll enjoy a Regan-like legacy and all this banter won't even be a footnote in history.

The U.S. invaded Iraq because Saddam had violated his surrender agreement by not providing evidence of his dismantling of his WMD program.

Because of his ties with terrorist organizations, we could not take the chance that he would arm these groups with weapons that could cause massive amounts of destruction and death to us or our allies.[/quote]

Since we're demanding evidence, why don't you substantiate the following assertions:

1) That Saddam violated his surrender agreement
2) That Saddam had "ties with terrorist organizations." What were these organizations and what ties did he have with them? Religious, political, ideological, financial.....Come now Mr/Ms CIA agent. Give us the Real™
Scoop.

And lastly, emergency management is primarily the responsibility of the local and state governments. If you have a problem with how Katrina was handled, even though the citizens didn't heed the warnings, you first need to look at those who are primarily responsible, instead of reelecting the corrupt mayor.

Nick:
If the above is true, then FEMA.....is perhaps one of the programs that GWB should have cut when he made his tax cuts. Don't you agree?

Do you think Bush was an astute economist?

Cheers,

I am asking you , should The Bush Administration be impeached, and if not, why?
Wow he did all that......Impeach the Congress, they voted for the war and could stop the funding at anytime.....Get a grip........

1) That Saddam violated his surrender agreement
UNSCR 1194 - September 9, 1998
"Condemns the decision by Iraq of 5 August 1998 to suspend cooperation with" UN and IAEA inspectors, which constitutes "a totally unacceptable contravention" of its obligations under UNSCR 687, 707, 715, 1060, 1115, and 1154.

UNSCR 1137 - November 12, 1997
"Condemns the continued violations by Iraq" of previous UN resolutions, including its "implicit threat to the safety of" aircraft operated by UN inspectors and its tampering with UN inspector monitoring equipment.

There are at least 19 violations, but these should suffice for this purpose.

Mainly financial, in that he helped the families of Hamas Homicide Bombers and he provided training camps and other resources for organizations that were harmful to his enemies.
There's plenty of info here and other non-partisan places on the net. Terrorism Havens: Iraq - Council on Foreign Relations

The UN passed Resolution 1441? That's news to me. When?
11/08/02. Here's part of the text. It's easily googled.

Resolution 1441 (2002)
Adopted by the Security Council at its 4644th meeting, on
8 November 2002
The Security Council,
Recalling all its previous relevant resolutions, in particular its resolutions 661
(1990) of 6 August 1990, 678 (1990) of 29 November 1990, 686 (1991) of 2 March
1991, 687 (1991) of 3 April 1991, 688 (1991) of 5 April 1991, 707 (1991) of 15
August 1991, 715 (1991) of 11 October 1991, 986 (1995) of 14 April 1995, and
1284 (1999) of 17 December 1999, and all the relevant statements of its President,
Recalling also its resolution 1382 (2001) of 29 November 2001 and its
intention to implement it fully,
Recognizing the threat Iraq’s non-compliance with Council resolutions and
proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and long-range missiles poses to
international peace and security,
Recalling that its resolution 678 (1990) authorized Member States to use all
necessary means to uphold and implement its resolution 660 (1990) of 2 August
1990 and all relevant resolutions subsequent to resolution 660 (1990) and to restore
international peace and security in the area,

No, this was based upon the intelligence provided to the Bush Administration, the U.N. and the U.S. Congressional Intelligence Committee by the CIA, British Intelligence, UNSCOM, and the IAEA.

There's no question that the local governments and state governments are primarily responsible for emergency management until they formally request help from the feds. And, I suspect that there's fat at FEMA as in any governmental organization.

No.

Now that this is settled, let's move on, forget about the 2000 election and move away from this witch hunt.

The only reason I can think of for Bush and Cheney NOT being impeached is that it would otherwise be cruel and inhuman punishment to the fellow prisoners in jail to be in the same cellblock.

So we suppose no one likes a serious fight. Who was responsible for the US deposing Saddam, and the outcome of that fight was full legal responsibility of all the actions of his regime for 20 years and more, well he was rewarded with the cruelest kind of capital punishment in his country, full discrimination to his cruelest acts and was hung as punishment from the American set up courts. Could the Bush and really the whole Enterprise from Negroponte in the Iran-Contra scandal push for two things, Power over other regimes, and then Gain from those enterprises, what a poor example in itself, talk about hypocritical (or hippi-critical) it seems to us Canucks as a personality disorder to me. Should end up in a lunatic asylum to me. If even the World Trade Center, and Pentagon attack end up on the helping side of what you could lend out, the Abraham Lincoln roles in his grave, end of story, hopefully not to the seat of the Presidency, and get it right when it isn't one or the other.

To get it right, you guys are being told to impeach and depose the Intelligence Networks in your country and start over, and that all the way up the congressional scale, that would be parallel to the attack of the other, done for its own criminal and at times without the intelligence to recover segment either. Or this, Bush Sr. telling Georgie his son, hang em, hang em, I tell you what to do son, now do it, and so alternately, so involved with the Ladens to this day for parallel, survivor groups those boys, and dangerous as well! Getting even was number two, you guys screwed up so royally in Iraq that I am glad Canada is only involved in Afghanastan, but it will probably take a century to clean up, so thank all of us the resources are available to launch a comeback on our own. We thought the Cold War was over up here no joke, less money in the military, so how much did those 100 British-made tanks cost you, yes I am still writing all this down, like some mystery novel, but hardly, and hey needed, that intelligence of what that war would end up being is so close to what everyone must abandon themselves from the old, hollywood homey homvee scan. How screwed you guys end up with the top of the bottle not being cork but simple metal and chemicals (nope not the aspertame thing) that are good for you, ha ah, ha, the polonic details also stink, really starving for a parallel for that part was done for the experience of war, no doubt.

Lastly don't let anything in the presidency say that it can obliterate or annihilate another country, it is not in the best interests from even your neighbours perspective, it is as stupid as the other. A nuclear war with Iran, would kill so many people in the surrounding countries and probably us, as to be the ultimate insult to your presidencies, even those still coming. That to me, is that she is being mocked to say that, it is a downright insult to everything going on in Iraq that to try making tit for tat on that isn't stupid, but petty, getting fed up yet?
